TS&O Technology Specialist - Connectivity is a member of the Product Team and one of the professionals who manage the services provided to the Operating Company (OpCo) by the TP&S Supplier.

Product Teams are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. This structure creates synergy, which optimizes the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

This role requires an understanding of the specific technology areas used within the OpCos. The specialist provides advice and guidance to the TP&S Supplier, coordinates and prioritizes work, and makes decisions regarding the services delivered to the OpCos.

Additionally, the role involves understanding the projects planned for the OpCos and ensuring alignment with the overall D&T strategy as well as OpCo business requirements.

Your responsibilities would include:

• working with cross-product and cross-geographical teams to successfully execute complex cybersecurity projects
• providing hands-on technical support to internal IT teams to address and fill technical knowledge gaps
• troubleshooting and resolving network issues, ensuring minimal downtime
• monitoring and managing network performance to ensure reliability and security
• collaborating with other IT teams to integrate networking solutions
• performing network configurations and hardware installations
• managing and configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices
• providing training to internal teams on network technologies and troubleshooting
• keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and networking technologies
• producing detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting logs.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• experience working in IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) environments
• 5+ years of experience as a Networking Specialist, Network Engineer, or in a similar role
• strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP) and networking concepts
• knowledge of routing and switching technologies (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol)
• proficiency in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment
• experience with VPNs, VLANs, and network security tools
• familiarity with network monitoring tools
• experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
• excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
• strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build high-impact, trust-based relationships with internal clients and stakeholders
• ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• fluent English.
