Strategic Business Control Manager

Your daily tasks may include:
- acting as a strategic Finance Business Partner to Management Team and senior stakeholders, supporting decision-making and driving business performance
- delivering financial insights, scenario modelling and business case evaluations to support strategic initiatives and trade-off decisions
- leading planning, forecasting and strategic planning cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and financial targets
- translating strategy into actionable financial plans, targets and performance tracking mechanisms
- identifying risks and opportunities, initiating corrective actions and closing performance gaps
- providing high-quality performance reporting with clear commentary, KPIs and actionable insights
- driving fact-based decision-making and cost-conscious mindset across the organization
- collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment
- supporting and coordinating strategic projects, including financial systems development, cross-entity reporting and transformation initiatives
- developing and leading a team, fostering a culture of strong business partnering and continuous development
- ensuring effective governance, documentation and compliance with internal controls and finance standards
You are a good match if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling or business performance management in a senior role
- strong experience in financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case development
- experience of working in a service delivery model or complex, matrix organization
- hands-on experience with BI tools and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- very good understanding of financial performance drivers and linking them to strategic priorities
- excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders

- experience in team leadership and people development
- ability to translate strategy into measurable financial objectives and execution plans
- experience in driving finance transformation or cross-functional strategic initiatives
- professional certification (CIMA or ACCA)
- strong business acumen combined with proactive and independent working style
