As the Solution Engineer in the Global deployment team, you will be a business facing individual responsible for the technical configuration of specific business processes of our OpCo’s across a variety of technologies. Ensuring on time delivery of agreed scope and functionality with the Senior Solution Engineer, for our OpCo’s to better serve their customers.
Your responsibilities would include:
- technical activities: customizing and configurating software applications or systems to meet the agreed scope; developing and maintaining configuration rules and logic based on business requirements and industry best practices; conducting thorough testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure accuracy and functionality; during all stages of the deployment project, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and internal teams as needed
- documentation and knowledge transfer: being responsible to document configuration processes, guidelines, and best practices for future reference; supporting with proper knowledge transfer to service delivery and OpCo teams
- collaboration: collaborating with the Senior Solution Engineer to ensure appropriate deployment process is in place and followed; collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for product configurations
- learning: being updated on emerging technologies and trends in key technologies in our landscape.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- 5+ years of working experience in the similar position deploying software into large multi nationals
- 2-3 years of experience with many of the above-mentioned technologies
- experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery
- strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices
- strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
- ability to learn new technologies fast
- ability to multitasking
- experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture
- excellent written and verbal English
- experience with Jira.
