The Senior Technology Specialist will be working as part of the D&T Supply Chain team and supports the refinement of requirements, designing, building and overall delivery features and agile projects related to the Customer Service & Logistics portfolio. The position will also align solution architecture and works closely with other application teams like ERP product team to help make design, development, and support system decisions to ensure strong and efficient Supply Chain Processes.

 

This role requires a solid understanding and strong technical experience in E2E Logistic and Supply Chain Management processes in SAP S4 HANA, SAP ECC (SD, LE, MM, WM, TM, EDI IDOC interfacing) and related Warehouse Management systems. Your responsibilities would include:

 

 

  • understanding business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assessing complexity and translating into technical solutions and configuration
  • ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional and non-functional requirements/specifications within architectural standards
  • collaborating with Product Architects on the solution design to ensure it conforms to overall architectural vision and technical roadmap
  • leading with innovation, participating in selection and introduction of new technologies to enable and support business application improvements
  • working with the different Global Supply Chain teams to help optimize E2E Processes across the value chain
  • monitoring and improving the quality of IT services according to technical standards and guidelines, reducing technical debt and improving performance
  • maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluating them for applicability
  • close collaboration, task level management of system integrators and other (local) suppliers.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics
  • minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role within FMCG industry
  • experience within a complex environment with specific involvement / implementation with ERP-related Projects or Programs (SAP ERP, EWM, MM ,SD, TM Etc) specifically in Sales & Distribution and Customer Service related modules / processes
  • SAP Certification in any Logistics module beneficial
  • implementation Experience/exposure to Cloud technologies 
  • solid knowledge of business processes in Supply Chain Management, designing and configuring business processes in respective modules
  • ability to drive decisions and recommendation about which technologies are needed to develop the product
  • experience of working in a deadline driven environment with rapid release cycles
  • excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
  • a can-do and hands-on attitude while dealing with some uncertainty in requirements & features to deliver MVP solutions
  • ability to work as a team player and you are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
  • experience and proven track of using of ITIL, SCRUM and DevOps methodologies Certification/proved trainings in these areas will be a benefit
  • ability to be analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured, a fast learner
  • ability to work independently, taking ownership and lead when/where asked and needed
  • proven experience in IT Service Management frameworks and processes.
