The Senior MDM Specialist is responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex Master Data Management (MDM) features across HEINEKEN’s global landscape. This role ensures high-quality, integrated master data by collaborating with business and technical teams, driving governance improvements, and aligning solutions with strategic goals and industry standards. Operating within the Digital & Technology (D&T) department, the Senior MDM Specialist plays a key role in advancing HEINEKEN’s data strategy and promoting best-in-class data stewardship.

Your responsibilities would include:

• owning the end-to-end process of eliciting requirements for complex MDM features and workflows through proactive engagement with stakeholders
• taking full responsibility for creating and maintaining comprehensive business requirement documents, functional specifications, authorizations, data flow diagrams, and internal knowledge repositories
• leading collaboration with MDM Technical Specialists by providing expert guidance and ensuring consistency in bridging business and technical terminology
• advising on effort estimation and user story prioritization to MDM Product Owner
• overseeing the development lifecycle and ensure strategic alignment
• defining and improving MDM performance metrics and reporting
• driving governance enhancements and aligning with industry standards
• delivering strategic consultancy across organization and developing tailored materials
• championing MDM awareness and adoption across HEINEKEN
• taking ownership of drafting and refining user stories that reflect both technical feasibility and business value, ensuring clarity and completeness throughout the development process.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• 7+ years of experience in and Master Data Management Role
• the ability to guide the users in discovering their needs with regards to MDM functionalities
• the ability to translate business requirements into data specifications for E2E MDM features and workflow
• experience in design, delivering, maintaining E2E MDM features and workflows
• experience in management in Customers, Vendors, Finance, Business Partners and related reference data
• hands-on experience with specific MDM tools (Medix, SAP, Tibco), knowledge of most common others
• the ability to work in a cross functional environment
• strong communication skills
• excellent written and verbal English
