Senior Functional Specialist

In this role you will drive the continuous evolution of the People Function system landscape, aligned with business strategy and business needs. You will shape and embed global template processes that drive efficient and effective ways of working, while safeguarding a seamless employee experience.
Your responsibilities would include:
- Having end-to-end ownership of global technology solutions in the Connected Worker Portfolio, building a close connection between the People Function and D&T.
- Fostering strong partnerships with the Process Owner(s), internal stakeholders (across functions and OpCos), as well as external providers.
- Securing alignment on strategic direction and shaping the roadmap for related enhancements and projects.
- Overseeing the delivery againsthe roadmap within the agreed budget, being the point of contact for the Portfolio Owner/ PLT. Independently leads complex multi-disciplinary projects, taking ownership for budget, resourcing, etc.
- This includes cross-functional solutions such as the Inspire (ServiceNow) solutions developed in partnership with D&T.
- Providing innovative outside-in perspectives and tracking internal KPIS to identify areas where digital solutions can enable functional strategies/ more efficient ways of working/ a better seamless employee experience.
- Proactively advising the Process Owner(s) and other stakeholders across functions, taking into consideration not only the technology but also the change impact on the business.
- Collecting and prioritisig functional requirements to evaluate and/ or shape solutions tailored to business needs.
- Safeguarding the global template, maintaining a cross-functional E2E view.
- Overseeing the deployment of solutions across OpCos, in partnership with the Global Transformation Lead and Connected WorkerPortfolio Owner. Once deployed, ensuring smooth transition of new solutions into support
- Partnering with the Global Solutions & Support team to set direction and evaluate releases, solution enhancements, etc., ensuring continued alignment with the global standard.
- Actively participating in knowledge sharing deep-dives with the OpCos to deepen functional expertise across the People Function
- Providing subject matter expertise and direction to shape global template processes with optimal use of technology.
- Overseeing the deployment of the required enabling technologies and global template processes which are part of the programme scope.
- Managing localisation requirements, safeguarding the integrity of the global template.
- Providing coaching for continuous improvement to the newly established Service Centres
You are a good candidate if you have:
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 15+ years in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 full life-cycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors from planning to go-live at a global scale.
- Extensive experience with shaping and implementing complementary technologies (ideally in an SAP SuccessFactors ecosystem).
- Hands-on configuration experience with SAP Successfactors or related technologies
- People Function knowledge across all domains of the function.
- Deep understanding of People Function enabling technologies.
- Extensive experience with building relationships across functions and OpCos.
- Experience acting as trusted advisor to senior People Function stakeholders
- Fluency in English (written & spoken)
- Keen interest in technology and how it can enable new ways of working, anticipating business needs
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders and establish strong relationships across levels and functions. Strong social skills and positive can-do attitude
- Strong focus on operational excellence and programme delivery. Proven ability to deliver results in global situations
- Proven ability to provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams. Credible coach to peers and more junior team members
- Ability to actively listen and respond through effective communications, securing shared understanding of complex topics and buy-in into strategic direction
- Demonstrated experience in rigorous planning, tracking of milestones and identification/ mitigation of risks
