Senior Cash Flow Forecasting Lead

The Senior Cash Flow Forecasting Lead is responsible for leading and actively contributing to the organization’s cash flow forecasting process, ensuring reliable liquidity planning and high-quality decision support. The role combines hands-on forecast preparation with oversight of forecasting standards and governance, while driving automation, innovation, and much required standardization of forecasting processes across operating companies, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accuracy. Beyond leading a team of analysts, the role develops its capabilities and performance to increase its impact on the organization. The role collaborates closely with Treasury, Finance, and business stakeholders to strengthen forecast accuracy, embed process improvements, and leverage digital solutions.

 

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

 

  • Leading and actively contributing to the preparation and consolidation of short-term cash flow forecasts (weekly, monthly, bi-monthly)
  • Analyzing variances between forecasted and actual cash flows and provide actionable insights
  • Identifing liquidity risks for operating companies and propose mitigation strategies
  • Owning the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of forecasting models and methodologies
  • Driving automation, innovation, and standardization of forecasting processes across operating companies
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives to streamline cash-related processes across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Business
  • Supporting month end/ year end close processes (revaluation/ overdrafts/ accruals, FX rates, balance sheet reconciliation)
  • Leading, mentor, and develop a team of cash flow analysts
  • Ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality, standards, and internal controls
  • Partnering with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Business to obtain high-quality inputs & ensure exchange/alignment with team responsible for RoFo FOCF forecasting
  • Resolving operational issues and stakeholder queries efficiently

 

 

You are a good match if you have:

 

 

  • Education: Master degree in Business Economics or Accounting + above average learning agility
  • 5+ years of experience in field of expertise: Finance, Treasury, Treasury Accounting & Reporting, or financial planning
  • Working knowledge of accounting processes including journal entries and reconciliations; solid understanding of treasury transactions
  • Minimum 2–3 years of team leadership experience
  • Functional skills: SAP, Kyriba, CIL, advanced MS Excel & Power BI, SQL, Python, passion for Treasury and financial risk management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and team development capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal English
