Senior Business Analyst for Exchange Rates - Design

The role of Business Analyst for Exchange Rates is primarily focused on the shaping the process and solution for exchange rates usage and maintenance in DBB.
The Business Analyst will be a Process Expert responsible to support the design of exchange rates process in Digital Backbone, as well as looking opportunities for improvements and design enhancements. The role will be responsible to secure the standards and handle derogation process. Furthermore, the role will secure an effective handover to the deployment team which will approach OpCos in scope for the Digital Backbone roadmap and will act as SPOC. Additionally, the role will lead establishing of Business as Usual maintenance processes for the exchange rates process.
The role will serve as a touching point between DBB, Global Treasury, GPO, D&T, Product Owner and the business.
Your responsibilities would include:
- supporting in creating the E2E design for exchange rates usage and maintenance processes, in alignment with the vision set by the Global Process Owners and solutioned by chosen technology (business requirements gathering and defining, PDD, KDDs, roles design, any other open points)
- closely cooperating with D&T team on translating business requirements into system solutions
- connecting with relevant stakeholders to align on design direction
- leading activity of establishing Business as Usual (BAU) maintenance and support processes for exchange rates
- participating in deep dive sessions with OpCos and assessing OpCo’s specifics and OpCo feedback gathered during the sessions
- assisting in successfully closing of gaps between “as is” and “to be” situation when expertise needed
- cooperating with D&T to establish configuration templates to be populated by OpCos, D&T and deployment, acts as SPOC in case of questions and facilities discussions with D&T team
- addressing localization requirements in cooperation with deployment BA
- preparing Global System Integration Test (SIT) scenarios and test scripts
- performing Global SIT
- preparing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and test scripts
- preparing and updating training materials
- training deployment team and DBB SO
- securing standards during deployment process and managing derogation process, in close cooperation with Global Process Owners
- providing expert knowledge of the subject area
- serving as first point of contact for deployment team, DBB, GPO, D&T, Product Owner and the business
- leading improvement initiatives and new developments
- driving his/her own personal development in leadership, functional competencies and business knowledge by
- creating, agreeing and implementing his/her own Development Plan
- developing core end to end HEINEKEN process knowledge in the subject area.
You’re a good candidate if you have:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance or other related studies
- at least 5-6 years of experience in Finance/Accounting in SSC/BPO environment
- minimum of 3-4 years of experience in RtR, especially within exchange rates process area
- end to end understanding of finance processes
- ability to understand the end-to-end process strategy and the application to the tasks and responsibilities of this position and explain them to the relevant stakeholders
- proven experience with exposure to multiple tools and methodologies and familiarity with an S/4Hana system
- experience in solution design positions
- strong analytical and project management skills
- strong and effective communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking, effective time management
- ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- experience with translating business needs and queries into technical system language
- experience with issue analysis, system testing and training delivery
- basic knowledge of change and release management rules
- (HEINEKEN experience with an understanding of Finance processes and OpCo situation would be an advantage).
Nice to have: - OpCo experience, OpCo network, HEINEKEN experience
- Shared Services / Global Business Services (GBS) experience
- SharpX and/or DBB experience
- knowledge of project management methodology (P3M, PMP, Prince, Agile or equivalent)
- proven contribution to process improvement/standardization project as a project member, with specific examples
- experience in conducting testing and trainings.
