Senior Business Analyst

Your responsibilities would include:
 
Support Process Owner in proactively managing respective process and design topics, including but not limited to:

  • identification and analysis of user requirements within VAT/indirect tax area, including relevant end-to-end transactional, cross-stream processes
  • ensuring alignment of process design with global standards, legal/tax frameworks, and strategic objectives
  • providing expert knowledge of the subject area
  • being responsible for the successful closing of gaps between “as-is” and “to-be” situation
  • participating in governance boards or design meetings to represent process-related topics
  • identifying business process improvements and changes and communicate them to the product team
  • acting as a change agent by promoting process adoption and standardization across OpCos
  • validating the process designs, contribute broader tax topics design and support Product Experts on platform design
  • ensuring process changes are modelled/updated in HEPM
  • maintaining process documentation and ensure alignment with evolving business and legal requirement
  • cross-functional alligment and collaborating with Product Experts to ensure the platform supports the intended process
  • supporting on developing and implementing standard operating procedures  
  • developing, implementing and safeguarding control environment, in line with the HEINEKEN Tax Control Framework.  

 

Point of contact towards OpCos*, including but not limited to:

  • supporting the OpCo on their change management journey and making the change stick
  • ensuring OpCos remain compliant with standard processes (PDDs), Legal/Tax governance requirements, and Data Management Standards
  • working with OpCos to foster active participation and ownership of the new solution (processes & tools) and ensuring a proper and effective knowledge transfer (e.g. documentation, training, etc.)
  • support on developing and implementing standard operating procedures  
  • developing, implementing and safeguarding control environment, in line with the HEINEKEN Tax Control Framework
  • translating business needs into process flows and documentation
  • supporting communication and alignment between global and local stakeholders during deployments
  • assessing impact of issues on process compliance and operational flow
  • facilitating feedback loops with OpCos to capture improvement ideas and pain points
  • coordinating and supporting on global SIT, supporting Deployment team on End-to-End testing (SIT and UAT) and ensuring that process-related controls are tested and validated during SIT/UAT
  • *During deployment, tax Platform Deployment Specialist (PDS) are responsible for the above activities related to OpCos

Other:

  • working in close collaboration with product team and  act as a liaison between business users and technical teams
  • supporting standing organisation activities
  • supporting deployment activities  

You’re a good candidate if you have:

  • strong understanding of how SAP and tax platforms support end-to-end tax processes
  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end transactional, cross-stream tax processes and process design with a strong understanding of VAT/indirect tax and with experience in compliance roles
  • ability to assess business impact and urgency of incidents and requests
  • strong analytical skills and stakeholder management, with the ability to explain processes clearly and build collaborative relationships
  • clear and effective communication skills, both with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • experience with translating business needs and queries into technical system language
  • experience with issue analysis, system testing and training delivery
  • effective communication, presentation, and time management skills
  • excellent English skills
  • skilled in facilitating workshops and gathering process requirements.

You’re a perfect candidate if you also have:

 

  • experience working at HEINEKEN, with an understanding of tax-relevant processes
  • experience in process modelling tools (e.g., ARIS, Signavio, HEPM) and process mining tools (Celonis)
  • experience collaborating across different streams, ensuring alignment and end-to-end process effectiveness
