This role ensures the development and execution of the European Logistics strategy by sourcing, robust supplier segmentation, relationship and performance monitoring, supporting Heineken’s procurement ambitions and business continuity through effective sourcing, supplier partnerships, continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities would include:

• All road freight spend in Europe for Source-to-Contract activities.
• Developing and implementing logistics category strategies for road freight.
• Leading procurement processes including RFPs/RFQs and regional legal contract negotiations for region to secure competitive pricing, service levels and contractual terms.
• Ensuring that all critical activities on Supplier Segmentation & Interaction, Supplier Relationship Management & Performance Management are executed in line with business requirements.
• Identifying and deploying most effective operating models and (digital) tools.
• Managing strategic supplier relationships Globally, effectively managing escalations, global supplier management.
• Budgeting: 400m EUR road freight primary.
• Tender Desk, SCD’s, OpCo FD’s, OpCo GM’s, regional SCD, regional FD, TM hub mgr.
• Driving regional logistic procurement activities. Acting as the logistic procurement reference for HNV, OpCo’s and global/regional functional stakeholders. Strategic supplier management with 800 LSP’s.
• Maintaining and continuously improving the relevant S2C process, driving cost-out, security of supply, clear process and fast decision making, compliancy and structured collaboration with TM hub and all functional stakeholders.
• Collaborating with TM hub and relevant stakeholders regionally and locally > 75 stakeholders.
• Co-owning the digital roadmap for logistic procurement incl. AI. Deploying across region.
• Being a key contributor to OpCo’s profitability. Directly managing/ impacting P&L and Balance Sheet (cash).

You are a good match if you have:

• Education: Master's degree in supply chain, economics, business administration or finance.
• Work experience: 5 years in logistics procurement and supply chain. Having worked in volatile and largely international environments.
• Required work experience in field of expertise: procurement, logistics, supply chain, sourcing, strategic negotiations, tendering, supplier management, contract management, project management, process design and optimization, multi-functional stakeholder management, operational exposure, supplier engagement
• Functional skills: commercial, analytical, strategic, comms.
• Languages: English (Full Professional Proficiency).
• Communication skills: Influence and impact through deep know-how, data and mobilizing people/ organizations. Active listening, style flexibility and balanced push/pull.
• Other skills: Continuous improvement mentality, result orientation, ability to design and implement sourcing fundamentals with rigor, data management, understanding financials/business cases/cost drivers, RF digital tools, MS suite incl. BI, ability to manage complexity.
