The Reference and Master Data Product Architect (Technology Specialist) is part of the Reference and Master Data Enabling Platform is responsible for the global data technology platform architecture, technical & development standards and support, operation and scaling of the platform to our operating companies and global functions.

The Product Architect owns the end-to-end architecture for the product. He understands Product Owners needs and converts them into solution architecture specifications in line with overall architectural standards and roadmaps. The architect operates as part of the devops team(s) and enables delivery of potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint.

The Reference and Master Data Product Architect will be working as part of the product devops team and supports the designing, building and delivering of expertise and support to features and agile projects related to the Analytics domain. In your role as product architect you will be involved in many different programs that require Reference and Master Data and define and resolve the objectives of these programs from a platform technology perspective.

Within HEINEKEN our Reference and Master Data tooling is our global platform that supports any other platform, tool or program requiring reference and/or master data. We currently have two platforms, one based on TIBCO EBX technology and another developed in the low code platform Mendix. This product architect role is specifically focussed at the design and operation of the TIBCO EBX and the integration related to this platform.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Formulates the architecture & design based on functional and non-functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the Reference and Master Data platform;
• Collaborates with Domain and Enterprise Architect on the Reference and Master Data Platform design to ensure it conforms to overall architectural vision and technical roadmap;
• Collaborate with technology vendors and our delivery partners on their technology roadmaps to meet future demand and optimize the service delivery to our internal customers;
• Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability;
• Provides guidance and coaching to other product team members on the architecture design and enhancements throughout the design process;
• Verifies the implementation—ensure the delivered system is consistent with the agreed architecture and meet the requirements.
• Conducts continuous improvement analysis on existing technology architectures and identifies architectural optimizations;
• Embeds security by design in accordance with HEINEKEN security requirements and ensures that all ongoing improvements are aligned with these requirements.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics or other related studies, complimented with relevant certifications in TIBCO EBX and cloud technology;
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people;
• Is a team player and is able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus;
• Be able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.
• Specific Experience for the Analytics platform architect
• 5+ years’ experience required in a similar product architecture or lead architect role in a complex international environment / FMCG industry
• Proven and strong experience (hands-on development) in TIBCO EBX (or the pre-assessor Orchestra Networks)
• Strong experience in and expert knowledge of integration technologies like API, event-based integrations
• Experience in hosting and maintaining software applications on private and public cloud
• Experience in architecture and solution design, including documenting and communicating/presenting to stakeholders
• Experience in analyzing new technology developments and applicability of these new developments in existing and new solution designs
• Experience in working in distributed devops team across on-shore, nearshore and off-shore locations
• Fluent English
