QA Engineer - DevOps Tools (Manual & Automation)

To deliver business value as early as possible, HEINEKEN teams need the tools to implement and run IT solutions in a fast, flawless and automated way. The DevOps Toolchain team is responsible for development, maintenance and support of the HEINEKEN Toolchain provisioning platform. This platform currently entails Azure DevOps, Browserstack, Confluence, Figma, GitHub Copilot, Jira, New Relic, SonarQube, Splunk, Terraform, and last but not least a home brewn self-service portal that caters for automated provisioning of tools and environments required by Digital Product teams in HEINEKEN. This way HEINEKEN IT teams can start their work quickly without having to wait for tools and environments.
 

Are you a QA professional and are you looking for a challenge in testing, integrating and automating tests for an entire toolchain that is used by thousands of users in hundreds of HEINEKEN teams? Your contribution as Quality Assurance Expert is essential to our success.
 

Your responsibilities would include:
 

· Testing new innovations to our state-of-the-art DevOps Toolchain which is continuously being expanded

· Expanding the Test Automation suite for the DevOps Toolchain, increasing our Test Automation coverage (built in PlayWright)

· Executing exploratory tests to ensure our platform as a whole is functioning correctly

· Ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and HEINEKEN standards and best practices (i.e. Quality, Architecture, Compliance & Security).

· Assess and advise on testability of user stories including considerations for manual testing, automated testing

· Scope and estimate testing effort for user stories

· Design and execute test cases

· Logging and managing defects

· Support DevOps Toolchain users

You are a good candidate if:
 

· You have excellent knowledge of and experience with Jira, Xray and PlayWright

· You are analytically and quantitatively strong and are highly structured

· You are a team player and you are able to work effectively in a product team

· You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people

· You have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a complex international environment or the FMCG industry

· You speak English fluently – as this is the main language in our company and you work in an international team

· You have Bachelor/Master’s degree

The ideal candidate also has:

· Experience with working in an Agile environment

· Knowledge of and experience with one or more of the following tools is a strong plus: Azure DevOps, BrowserStack, Confluence, Figma, GiHub Copilot, New Relic, SonarQube, Splunk or Terraform
