Product Owner Digital Commerce [OMS]

Commerce DevOps Hub is being established. The newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with maintaining, but most importantly developing (functionally and technologically) IT solutions supporting the Commerce area at Heineken. Commerce DevOps Hub is located in Kraków and will include highly qualified IT professionals with direct contribution to both the technological development of the Heineken Commerce and the Hub itself.


The Product Owner is accountable and responsible for defining the feature roadmap and making sure this is connected to the epics and outcomes (impact & value). This is done by aligning with the Sr. Product Owners, the touchpoint lead and with other (business & D&T) key stakeholders. For both the functional, non-functional and technical sides of the product/capability or solution that falls with the scope of the product owner. The product owner defines the outcomes (what) and key success criteria of the features. The product owner facilitates the refinement process of the product team and prioritises the backlog according to team-specific and portfolio priorities based on impact & value. The product owner remains up to date on both technical and methodological trends and best practices. The product owner validates whether the deliveries of the product team meet the set success criteria and KPIs. The product owner makes sure to manage budget and capacity according to pre-set run rates.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and value proposition aligned with our RTC strategy and following the DBB foundations.
  • Use data and analytics to monitor platform performance within your specific domain, customer behaviour, and adoption. Partner closely with the Value Measurement & CX team to define and track business outcomes. Implement OKRs and a robust KPI framework to steer priorities and effectiveness consistently across markets. You include quality and data in the definitions of done.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle within a specific domain/set of features, from ideation to deployment and optimisation. Optimise feature roadmap intake. Embrace and implement best practices and actively contribute.
  • Lead and empower cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Work closely with design, engineering, experimentation, and business-facing stakeholders, as well as customers, to build out business cases and roadmaps that deliver value to Heineken.
  • Work across stakeholders (product, opco, region, etc.) to plan the sprints, including deciding on sprint content and priority; manage dependencies and (cross) portfolio collaboration, including trade-offs (time vs effort vs features vs value).
  • Maintain and refine the Product Backlog at feature level with a view to maximising reusability between OPCOs, driving backlog and prioritising based on aligned value best practices/guidelines.
  • Champion change management and stakeholder engagement, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Plan sprints, manage dependencies, and drive cross‑portfolio collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, MtC process teams, and D&T teams to optimise customer/user journeys.
  • Communicate expectations, business impacts, and emerging user needs to teams and stakeholders.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in business or engineering)
  • 5+ years in digital product management
  • Understanding of digital product lifecycle and omnichannel strategy
  • Experience with data analytics tools and leading large-scale change
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Flexible mindset and up for a challenge
  • Expertise in digital commerce platforms
  • Agile leadership and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

 

Preferred:

  • Additional certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management
  • Experience in digital commerce, stakeholder management, and agile methodologies
  • Digital transformation experience
  • Commercial value chain expertise
