This role is part of the Digital and Technology (D&T) department of HEINEKEN International and is located in the Heineken Global Shared Services hub in Krakow. As the Product Architect (PA) for the Connectivity Tribe you are part of the Global Connectivity
Team, which is part of the Global Digital Infrastructure Portfolio within D&T. As the Product Architect you will work with the Chapter Lead for Engineers, and Product Owners (PO) you understand the organizational and business needs and convert them into connectivity architecture specifications that can be used to put the right solutions in place. You translate these needs into the D&T Product Architecture that conforms to Enterprise Architectural standards and roadmaps. The Enterprise and Domain architects in D&T shape the overall landscape together with the other where this role focusses on the connectivity side of the landscape.
As the Junior Product Architect for the Connectivity Tribe, you will play a vital role in defining HEINEKEN enterprise network strategy, improving the pathways for how data is transmitted between an increasingly complex digital landscape, while ensuring sufficient protections, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
The Product Architect supports the team in delivery and maintenance of the Connectivity Product Portfolio and keeps on ensuring alignment with the business strategy. The Connectivity team reports into the Digital Infrastructure global portfolio. Apart from the Connectivity team, also the Cloud & Hosting Product Team, the End User Devices Product Team and the Collaboration Product Team report into the Digital Infrastructure Portfolio.


Your responsibilities would include:
• enabling the connectivity product architecture for world-class network solutions at HEINEKEN, inclusive of monitoring, predictive/proactive analytics, automated self-healing, and rapid recovery. Identify, define, develop, and publish KPIs and operational scorecards which monitor network system performance
• in collaboration with the Chapter Lead of the Connectivity Tribe, Enterprise Architecture, defining the architectural standards for networking solutions, develop roadmaps, inclusive of throughput sizing, pathway design, carrier and path diversity, system resiliency designs, and efficient operational management standards
• guiding end-to-end engineering efforts for networking products inclusive of SDWAN, LAN, Remote Access, Cloud Networking, firewall, wireless, IoMT, IP/DNS, VPN and load balancing technologies. Experienced with network technologies and services in an international environment and setup.
• knowledgeable on Wide and Local Area Network (WAN/LAN) services, network architecture, technologies like: access points, routers, switches, VPN’s) both for the corporate IT domain and in the OT environments)
• conducting continuous improvement analysis on the networking architecture and solutions and identifies architectural optimizations
• managing internal stakeholders across all Functional domains (e.g. Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance), establish deep relationships with key stakeholders within the Digital & Technology service department including Information Security, Data & Analytics, application leadership and external partners like Orange Business, Aviatrix, NTT, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.
• maintaining awareness of emerging networking technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability consistency of the overall D&T Product
• utilizing deep problem solving and critical thinking skills to develop solutions for difficult challenges that exist across HEINEKEN networking ecosystem and develop solutions utilizing modern networking modalities
• co-owning with the Product Owner Connectivity the connectivity roadmap and safeguards Connectivity Technology Standards, Solution Directions, Risk/Security assessments, Standard Operational Procedures and governance documentation
• bringing the connectivity viewpoint into the definition and delivery of the overall architecture of the HEINEKEN IT Landscape.


You are a good candidate if you have:
• Master’s degree in IT or equivalent experience
• work experience, +5 years of experience required in a complex international environment (Countries/Regions)
• strong and demonstrated experience with Connectivity and Networking in a multinational environment
• proven experience in identifying, selecting, and implementing relevant new technologies and influencing the business with a formal global financial business case for its related services 
• an entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to connect with internal and external audiences including senior management
• sense of urgency to enable & support OpCos and its Operations with the related services
• knowledge of cloud environments by certification or experience
• a curios and can do attitude
• supporting resolution of operational issues as architect
• abilility to lead the creation and implementation of solutions for end customers
• network design, implementation and trouble shooting skills
• documentation and presentation skills
• strong collaboration skills; agile mindset and experience with working in an Agile environment.
