Product Architect - B2B Commerce Experience

We're looking for an experienced back-end and Infrastructure architect, that is ready to further scale the experience layer of our global B2B commerce solution. This means working with operating companies from across the world and serving millions of B2B customers globally. This is not your average B2C webshop but a true B2B experience that consumes a complex mix of services incl. B2B-specific pricing and promotion, payment & delivery services.

Together with the Product Owners, a Front-end Architect, Development Lead(s), and development teams, you're setting the new standards for how Heineken thrives in the online B2B space with its first truly global B2B brand: EAZLE.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Ensuring the stability of the application stack while it scales and defining technical roadmap for it (incl. defining the standards for BE teams to support the B2B FE experience)
• Ownership and extension of the domain-driven approach and working with other product architects so it becomes one of the default building blocks of our composable architecture
• Setting up, operating, and improving end-to-end monitoring of the application stack including infrastructure-, integration-, application performance and user sessions (incl. defining key metrics and notifications)
• Working with BE specialists and govern the orchestration layer (Apollo GraphQL based) so that is reliable in its role to support various FE experiences (i.e., EDM compliance)
• Ownership of the application stack for our B2B commerce experience and ensure it meets all Enterprise Architecture prerequisites (i.e., performance, security, privacy, automation, documentation)
• Defining the infrastructure requirements for the infrastructure team and working with the cloud architect on topics such as Routing, CDN, WAF, Disaster Recovery
• Leading the relationship with technology partners and owning the capability, license, and budget implications of the contracts we have with them (incl. leveraging their experience for key decisions)
• And any other tasks assigned within the scope of functional responsibilities

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a technical “twist”
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure offering, specifically Platform as a Service (PaaS) products such as Azure App Services
• Experience with the concept of containerization and how to implement/support it (incl. knowing the basic of Linux)
• Working knowledge of setting up DevOps capabilities (ideally in Azure DevOps) such as setting up CI/CD pipelines, and connecting a variety of development tools
• Broad experience with event monitoring tools (i.e., NewRelic & Splunk)
• Hands-on experience with the end-to-end process of software development (i.e., development and release process)
• In-depth knowledge of composable and headless architectures (ideally incl. carving out services and/or building them from scratch)
• Experience with security tooling like SASTs and DASTs, and approaches such as Penetration tests and access monitoring
• Working knowledge in related technical frameworks and tools such as Typescript/Javascript, Json, CLI (Docker, Powershell)
•  Headless CMS experience (i.e., Contentful or similar) and PWA experience (implications, conceptual) would be additional assets
• Advanced SQL & excel skills
•  Excellent written and verbal English
• Ability to define and convey an architecture vision/roadmap
• Experience working with senior stakeholders with varying technical expertise
