The Observability Insights Lead is responsible for defining and enhancing the correlations, deduplication and escalation criteria’s for events, and providing expertise to platform owners about observability. This role exists to ensure that data ingestion is optimized, data correlation and deduplication are enabled, and system performance is continuously monitored and improved. The ultimate goal is to generate actionable insights, support incident management, and promote observability capabilities within the organization.
Your responsibilities would include:
- evaluating benefits and costs for use cases: assessing the potential advantages and expenses associated with different use cases
- enriching the data with CMDB information to enable correlation and deduplication: enhancing data quality by integrating Configuration Management Database (CMDB) information
- correlating the data to generate incidents: using correlated data to identify and generate incident reports
- creating dashboards and visualizations to provide insights into trends and user experience
- assisting development teams in correlating traces with metrics and events: supporting development teams in linking traces with relevant metrics and events
- maintaining connection with product and platform representatives: fostering ongoing communication with product and platform representatives.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- proficiency with APM technology: skilled in using NewRelic or DataDog or AppDynamics or Dynatrace for monitoring and observability
- background in managing complex correlation and escalation rules in a self-service process
- expertise in enriching events with CMDB integration
- a strong focus on fostering collaboration by actively engaging with cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless teamwork
- the ability to communicate clearly by articulating ideas, requirements, and technical concepts in an effective and concise manner
- a commitment to driving quality by continuously improving processes, monitoring performance, and ensuring high standards in deliverables
- excellent written and verbal English.

- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
