Introduction



In 2026 we will start to build a Central European Demand Planning team in Krakow. You have the unique chance to join this team and be part of an exciting journey! The Central Demand Planning will provide the statistical forecast to our European operating companies. We will do that using a variety of Demand Planning tools (Blue Yonder and FuturMaster). In the coming 2 years the central team will grow to around 13 people. During that same period, we will onboard European operating companies one by one and start working closely with their local planning teams.



Job purpose:



As the Manager Demand Planning Europe, you will lead a team of around 13 Demand Planners and a Demand Analyst. Your goal is to deliver a reliable and standardized demand planning process across our European operating companies. The role ensures governance of the planning cycle, ensures forecast performance improvement in the hub, and links the demand plan into the regional S&OP cycle. It also steers the roadmap for Machine Learning forecasting capabilities and automation in collaboration with Blue Yonder and other stakeholders. The role operates remotely with indirect influence on operating companies, requiring sensitivity to cultural differences and multiple DP tools.

 


Your responsibilities would include:


- Lead the Hub team of Demand Planners; workload balancing, setting priorities, coach team members, and ensure capability development.

- Oversee the end-to-end demand planning cycle across operating companies; ensure inputs, ML forecast generation, enrichment, and reviews happen on time.

- Govern weekly and monthly release process by validating governance within the framework, ensuring DS focus is split between deployment, CI and support, aligning priorities with available capability, and linking the Hub demand plan into the regional S&OP cycle.

- Ensure process adherence and governance; ownership of templates, calendars, and documentation; oversee adoption of templates and adhere to calendars.

- Engage stakeholders (Supply Chain Directors, S&OP Managers, Global Capability Planning) to align priorities and resolve escalations.

- Champion capability building for Hub; oversee training and adoption of best practices.

- Lead the Continuous Improvement (CI) agenda (TPM - total productive management) for Demand Planning

- Maintain and sustain change management after tool deployment.

 


You are a good candidate if you have:


- Education: Master's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.

- Work experience: 8-10+ years in Demand Planning, S&OP / IBP roles. Preferred: Experience in leading multi-market or regional planning teams.

- Required work experience in the field of expertise: Proven track record in demand planning and forecasting. Strong experience in S&OP governance, performance management, and process improvement

- Other fields of expertise: Familiarity with advanced planning tools (e.g., Blue Yonder), FMCG / Beverage industry experience

- Functional skills: Leadership and team management, strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, governance and process compliance

- Languages: English (Required); additional languages relevant to supported operating companies (nice to have)
