Junior Transport Planner (fixed term contract)

Your responsibilities would include: 

• executing daily transportation planning activities, including load consolidation, mode selection, and route optimization
• managing transportation bookings and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries
• acting as the primary point of contact for carriers, resolving issues and managing exceptions
• handling unrouteable shipments within expected timelines
• monitoring carrier status updates (in-transit, appointment, delivered, etc.) and proactively managing exceptions
• communicating effectively with customer service and warehouses regarding delivery changes
• collaborating with internal supply chain teams and logistics service providers to enhance transportation operations
   

Please note this is a fixed term - 1 year contract.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain management or logistics
• ability to build and maintain strong relationships with local teams and carriers
• experience in managing operational tasks, prioritizing workloads, and meeting deadlines
• strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interactions
• familiarity with SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), or similar platforms
• fluency in English & Polish (spoken and written) to work effectively in an international environment

You are a perfect match if you also have:

• knowledge of transportation regulations, industry standards, and business policies
• experience with SQL, Power BI, or Oracle Transportation Management
• bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, or a related field
