Junior Group Management Accounting & Reporting Analyst

Your responsibilities would include: 

 

Support execution of HEINEKEN global governance cycle:

  • preparing GROUP and REGIONAL management reports: Sales Volumes, Managerial Financials, Organic Growth, Business Performance, Working Capital, etc. on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • performing review of global managerial metrics (Organic Growth, Exceptional Items, Volumes, Mix effects, Price segmentations and categories) for Actuals, Forecast, Annula Plans and Strategic Plan
    in close conjunction with Global MR and Global departments (FR, RAP, MIO, Tax, HR, Treasury) and Commercial-, Global- and Regional business control and other Global Functions ( Revenue Management Team, CMI Team, Global Customers Team, Global Safety and Global Sustainability Team, and more)
  • supporting organic growth related topics from the OpCo’s, Region and Group perspective. 


Ensures quality of data for Actuals, Forecasts and Planning Processes:

  • defining validations required for managerial datasets to ensure high accuracy of HEINEKEN data using various tools (PowerQry, BexAnalyzer, BO, CIL,)
  • monitoring completeness and consistency across datasets
  • following up and providing guidance to Operational Companies across all Heineken entities (worldwide), HGSS reporting teams on issue resolutions in order to assure accurate and timely periodic reporting of managerial data (on monthly, quarterly and annually basis)
  • providing trainings on MR Global reporting processes to Heineken reporting entities, managing incorporation of newly acquired entities from MR perspective.


Contribute to the Finance Transformation Agenda:

  • participating or leading projects that improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of the Finance and other Global functions within HEINEKEN
  • contributing to development of new processes and enhancements to existing processes. 


Develope new reports, functionalities and ad-hoc analysis using various reporting tools: BexAnalyzer, Analysis for Office, TM1 and Power BI:

  • designing and coordinating the build of online CIL reports and BeX Analyzer queries
  • identifying complex managerial reporting issues and following in the resolution of these issues
  • using own expertise in supporting Business Control teams and other Global Functions in the preparation of ad hoc analysis. 

Ensures compliance with policies:

  • being spokesperson for the OpCos, with close interaction with Global MR Team, Regional Controllers, GPC Team and other global teams (MIO, FR, RAP, Commerce, Tax)
  • consulting, advising and monitoring application of HEINEKEN policies, guidelines and regulations across OpCos
    correctly applying HEINEKEN Group managerial (non-IFRS) reporting principles
  • ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements following provided guidance
  • supporting internal/external audits by preparing information as and when requested
  • executing assigned process controls and proactively reporting any instances of non-compliance.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business Economics
  • ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification is an asset
  • five years of professional experience in Business Control, Business Analysis, Managerial Reporting, Financial Modelling or similar
  • experience with a reporting tool such as BeXAnalyzer, Business Object, PowerBI or similar Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) skills
  • experience in an international environment and complex stakeholder management
  • knowledge of financial and operational processes (end to end thinking)
  • knowledge of financial planning and management accounting
  • ability to support complex OG topics/ Business Control issues and resolve them following a guidance from senior team member in an international environment
  • proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues within own area of operations
  • used to work under stringent deadlines, keeping in mind quality, accuracy and time
  • fluent English language required
  • excellent interpersonal skills, ability to quickly form working relationship, very good communication and presentation skills
  • ability to effectively manage the relationship with stakeholders
  • strong analytical skills
  • proactive in identifying and solving problems/issues continuous improvement orientation
  • used to work under stringent deadlines, keeping in mind quality, accuracy and time
  • a drive for continuous professional development in self
  • ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives.
