As the Integration Architect , your role involves collaborating with engineering teams to integrate management practices throughout the software development lifecycle in our E-Business landscape, contributing to HEINEKEN International’s Evergreen strategy. You will work directly with the Product Owner(s) and Product Architect(s), understanding the business needs and helping Product Architect(s) to convert those needs into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall standards and roadmaps. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust, scalable integration solutions.

The role sits within Digital & Technology as part of the E-Business team and will report directly to the Chapter Lead for Integrations.

Your responsibilities would include:

• development and maintenance of the organization's API strategy, including standards for API design, security, and governance to ensure a consistent and secure API ecosystem
• designing and creating architecture of sophisticated integration solutions, focusing on API-led connectivity to streamline and optimize business processes and data flow between various systems, applications, and services
• implementing efficient service orchestration mechanisms to manage complex workflows and business logic that span multiple services and systems
• overseeing the selection and implementation of appropriate middleware solutions that align with the business needs and integration goals, ensuring a seamless, agile, and efficient integration environment
• ensuring high performance and responsiveness of APIs and integrations, incorporating best practices in caching, throttling, and monitoring
• defining and enforcing security protocols and policies for API access, ensuring secure data exchange and compliance with relevant data protection regulations
• working closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, product owners, and technical teams, to translate business requirements into robust integration solutions
• leading the integration team in adopting best practices in API development and orchestration.

You are a good candidate if you have:

• 5-10 years of experience in IT, with a focus on designing and implementing integration architectures, API management and orchestration
• proficiency with API management tools and platforms, such as Azure API Management, and understanding of API policies, security, and analytics
• deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, ESBs, and event-driven architecture
• experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) is highly desirable, showcasing the ability to integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise systems
• knowledge of GraphQL is a plus, indicating the ability to design and implement flexible, efficient APIs tailored to the consumers' needs
• strong background in relevant programming languages, middleware, and databases. Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and their integration services
• ability to solve complex integration challenges, with strong analytical skills and the capacity to think strategically about technology and its business implications
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive integration projects to successful completion.
