After successfully building our software engineering organization, we are now entering the next stage of our evolution by accelerating the growth of Digital Commerce. We are now expanding Hub by adding skilled Product Owners and Product Designers. This expansion reinforces our Digital Commerce team’s commitment to serving customers better, faster, and smarter by strengthening Route-to-Consumer (RtC) capabilities, embracing customer-centric approaches, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
With eazle, we are building a global digital ecosystem to empower all our touchpoints: the B2B Customer, our Salesforce, Distributors and Customer Service. Within the Salesforce touchpoint, your customer is the Sales Rep and the digital product portfolio in this area aims to drive growth through improved productivity and streamlined customer acquisition.
As Head of Design Commerce, you set and champion the vision for product design across the Digital RTC ecosystem, shaping strategy and driving excellence in user experience. You oversee all product design activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives, brand standards and customer needs.
You inspire teams, manage external agencies and build strong stakeholder relationships to deliver impactful and scalable design solutions. You lead and coach a team of product designers and design leads, drive experimentation and ensure design excellence across the Digital RTC ecosystem.
Your responsibilities would include:
- defining and shaping the global product design vision and strategy aligned with the overall Digital RTC strategy and eazle brand values
- delivering business impact individually and through others across the full Digital RTC portfolio and HEINEKEN broadly, while setting design standards, processes and best practices with impact at leadership team level and across Commerce
- advocating for user-centred design principles and aligning design strategy with market and portfolio context
- designing and establishing portfolio-level quality control strategies, including design performance management, quality control mechanisms, brand guidelines, bar raisers, leadership review optimisations and supporting processes
- leading, mentoring, upskilling and inspiring Senior Product Designers and Design Leads while building a best-in-class design organisation and fostering a culture of belonging and collaboration
- actively embedding cultural and organisational initiatives that strengthen collaboration and design maturity
- owning and delivering the overarching design strategy, balancing customer needs, business goals and technical feasibility
- overseeing the evolution and consistent application of brand guidelines across all digital products
- driving adoption and continuous improvement of design systems, ensuring accessibility and scalability at enterprise scale
- defining and scaling effective ways of working beyond portfolio impact to broader D&T teams and supporting cross-department optimisation
- fostering a culture of feedback, experimentation and continuous improvement
- leading engagement with senior business stakeholders, Product Owners, Engineering and external partners.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- a master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. interaction design, product design, user experience design)
- 10+ years of experience in product design with significant leadership responsibility, including managing multidisciplinary design teams of 15+ people
- proven track record of shaping design strategy in large and complex organisations, ideally within scaled B2B, B2C or omnichannel commerce ecosystems
- experience building and leading design organisations, including hiring, developing and coaching senior designers and managers
- demonstrated ability to define and drive a multi-year design vision connected to business strategy, commercial KPIs and customer value
- proven expertise in establishing and scaling design systems across multiple digital products and markets
- strong experience with hypothesis-driven design, experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, CRO and data-informed decision-making
- deep experience operating in agile, product-led organisations in close partnership with product, engineering, marketing and commercial teams
- experience influencing complex stakeholder landscapes, including executive alignment, change management and driving design maturity
- leadership experience in digital transformation initiatives within global matrix organisations (preferred)
- understanding of beverage, FMCG, retail or commercial value chain ecosystems (preferred)
- experience working across multiple markets, adapting global standards while enabling local execution (preferred)
- experience implementing DesignOps practices to improve efficiency, consistency and tooling (preferred)
- excellent verbal and written skills in English.

- expertise in design systems at scale: deep experience in building, governing and scaling enterprise-wide design systems that drive consistency and efficiency
- data-driven decision making & experimentation: strong grasp of qualitative and quantitative research methods, analytics and experimentation, and the ability to integrate insights into design decisions
- adaptability & leadership in ambiguity: comfort leading teams through uncertainty, making informed decisions with incomplete information and navigating organisational complexity.
