The Product Owner Pricing is accountable for the end-to-end ownership, delivery, and performance of the global pricing products. This role drives continuous value creation by aligning product strategy with business needs, ensuring the product remains fit-for-purpose across markets and functions.

 

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

 

Product Strategy & Vision:

  • Defining and owning the product vision, value case, and strategic roadmap in alignment with the MtC Business Blueprint and EverGreen 2030 ambitions
  • Continuously scanning the market and internal landscape for innovation opportunities and initiate product enhancements. 

 

Template Governance & Expansion:

  • Guarding, improving, and expanding the global product template

 

Backlog & Delivery Management:

  • Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the Product Backlog based on business value, roadmap commitments, and customer pain points
  • Translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

 

Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Representing the voice of the customer and ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across MtC, D&T, Shared Services, and OpCos
  • Facilitating regular demos, feedback loops, and communication to maintain transparency and trust

 

Budget & Team Leadership:

  • Owning the product budget and manage a cross-functional (virtual) product team, including vendors and internal contributors
  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on delivering value securely, compliantly, and at scale

 

Deployment & Quality Assurance:

  • Driving product deployment through delivery organizations (e.g., program/project teams)
  • Acting as a quality gatekeeper, ensuring deployments meet agreed standards and deliver expected outcomes.

 

 

You are a good match if you have:

 

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Commerce, Finance, IT, or a related field
  • Field of Study: Business, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, or related disciplines
  • Specialization: Scrum Product Owner training and certification is recommended
  • Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP S/4), and process mapping tools is an advantage 
  • 8-10 years demonstrated experience in (transactional) pricing, discount & promotion processes, specifically price & promo maintenance, trade term structures, trade promotion management, rebate creation, accrual and settlement. Deep understanding of the pricing & promo process in FMCG industry. Exposure to cross-functional and complex international environment
  • Understanding of the Market-to-Cash process and the associated risks
  • Experience with end-to-end process design, platform deployment, and working in a multinational or shared services context
  • Knowledge of structure through E2E process oriented thinking 
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Experience with process design & mapping, project management, change management, and Agile methodology
  • Relentless focus on measurement and value delivery.  
  • Translation of process ambition to tech/data requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and address conflicting priorities
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to connect IT & business and work with multiple stakeholders at various levels
  • Leadership: Ability to shape, connect, develop, deliver, and role model company behaviors
  • Strategic mindset with attention to both detail and the “helicopter view”.
