Global Process Expert Europe (OtC)

Support Functions & Hubs are an integral part of HEINEKEN Global Shared Services Center.
Our support teams & hubs represent various functions vital for successful performance of the whole HGSS. They include internal finance, HR, transformation programs, operational excellence, global control & process improvement and other.

Are you passionate about Order to Cash processes, technology and data and looking for a great challenge in an international environment?
As a team member of Global Finance Business Process Management, you will be part of the team that is the home of the global process owners of transactional finance within HEINEKEN. We shape the transactional finance vision, functionally own the processes, measure process maturity and performance and identify improvements. We manage the design and quality of platforms and products supporting our processes and act as a thought leader for everything transactional finance process related. 
As Process Expert OTC you are part of the Global Order to Cash Process team, and act as a regional representative. You translate the global process vision and strategy into regional focus and priorities for E2E process improvements, in close collaboration with key stakeholders. You ensure E2E process excellence through process expertise and quality assurance, safeguarding the global process design, standards and ambition, always driving process maturity growth.

You are a good match if you have:

  • Master, plus relevant certification on the assigned expertise area,
  • 4-6 years’ experience required in a similar role / a complex international environment,
  • Experience in a mid-level reporting & accounting, commercial or business control at OpCo level or in shared services environment, with exposure to relevant enabling technology and ERP systems,
  • Stakeholder management across Regional and OpCo,
  • In-depth knowledge of the End-to-End Order to Cash processes (Credit, Collection & Dispute management, Customer payments, Price maintenance, Invoicing),
  • Experience with End-to-End process-oriented thinking, combination of analytical and conceptual thinking,
  • Experience within transformational projects,
  • Experience in facilitating process design/validation workshops,
  • Knowledge and understanding Continuous Process Improvement (TPM/Lean/Six Sigma), Project Management methodologies and Agile ways of working,
  • Fluent English language,
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certified,
  • Takes ownership and is self-starter; Hands-on, getting things done mentality.

Your daily tasks may include:

Key accountabilities:

  • Translate global process strategy and priorities into regional key focus areas, in preparation of alignment between Global Process Lead and Senior Process Manager,
  • Support process priority alignments between HGSS operations and OpCo stakeholders, representing the global process team,
  • Quality & progress assurance role in global/regional deployment of projects and programs like KPI Tree, CORE and Sharp-X,
  • Actively identify opportunities to mature the process towards target state, driving process excellence through CPI, projects, and product teams,
  • Maintain and optimize global process flows, standards, and policies,
  • As part of the global process team, deliver towards the actions on the global process agenda.

Key activities:

  • Translate global process strategy into regional key focus areas,
  • Align key focus and priorities from process strategy with regional operations and OpCo stakeholders,
  • Provide process expertise to grow process towards target state, safeguarding the standards,
  • Identify opportunities to mature the process-enabling digital solutions towards target state, working closely with product teams and key user groups, to embed improvements on the product roadmap,
  • Quality & progress assurance role in global/regional deployment of projects and programs like KPI Tree, CORE and Sharp-X,
  • Act as first point of escalation for project team during global/regional project deployment, regarding issues and derogation,
  • Deliver towards the actions on the global process agenda i.e. BASE Standing org support for BRD approval, global process maintenance in ARIS, Global data standards review and GDS support in guarding standards, global policy, procedures, and standards input and maintenance
  • KPI tree updates on scope and definition, including ensuring out in regional KPI tree for the region,
  • Regional contact for OpCo queries,
  • Review and advise on incoming derogation requests for OpCos in region and align with GPL,
  • Process maturity assessment planning, roll out and evaluation, in close collaboration with Process Specialist,
  • Leverage regional external network for benchmarking and best practise gathering.
