Global Contract Manager Indirect

In this role you will be responsible for providing tactical and operational contract management support to Global Categories , OpCo and Head Office teams, to deliver excellence of service and correct usage of the Global contracting tools and creating efficiencies in the process across the source -to-pay spectrum in the new Future Fit organization

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • Acting as first Point of Contact (PoC) and Subject  Matter Expert (SME), coordinating the global legal and operational contracting activities leading to global contracting compliance, optimized processes and excellent shared service center performance.
  • Partnering with Global Category Teams to support and coordinate global legal and operational contracting activities across 1,000+ suppliers, 1,200 contracts, and 60+OpCos.
  • Delivering insights through advanced data analysis on supplier performance and risk, leveraging global tools to inform decision-making.
  • Acting as a critical link between OpCos, strategic suppliers, and HGP category managers, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Providing guidance and supervising category coordinators in the external shared service centre on end results.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal stakeholders, including senior stakeholders, across HGP Category Teams, OpCo Procurement, suppliers, Shared Services, and technology partners.
  • Being SME for all areas of global contracting, operational procurement processes and tools including outsourcing to a shared service center, with clear awareness of how it interfaces with all other aspects of the HGP Toolkit and upcoming DBB deployment.


You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • University Degree in a business, financial, commercial, economic or technical discipline
  • 5+ years of working experience
  • Experience in Procurement operations, tender desk, financial or supply chain operation roles in a complex environment.
  • Knowledge of StP is a must.
  • Experience with Procurement contracting systems (Zycus, SRM, Ironclad etc..), Microsoft Office, Power BI.
  • Fluent English required
  • A result-driven mentality and great interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ownership, ability to work independently,
  • Curiousity and willing to understand the bigger picture,
  • Can -do mentality and ability to identify new improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to build strong connections and fostering effective collaboration with the external team members.
  • Ability to manage intercultural relationships with stakeholders from all levels and ability to adjust the communication style accordingly.
