Global BSAR - PEC - Leasing Accounting Product Owner

Your daily tasks may include:
- you will be responsible for the success of BSAR (Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation) – Period End Close – Leasing accounting products and securing that the products are in line with the RtR Blueprint by translating the RtR process, technology and organisational requirements into the products
- owning the user experience and working in collaboration with the business or end user to establish requirements in the form of User Stories
- maintaining and refining the Products Backlogs with a view to maximise reusability between Operating Companies (OpCos)
- managing the products budget. Representing the end user and deciding the order in which content is delivered with input from the team; based on value delivered
- ensuring end-to-end process and technology integration through collaboration with other global functions, by working closely together with other global product owners and stakeholders from Business and D&T
- driving products deployments in OpCos through a delivery organisation, e.g., programme/project teams
- taking a quality assurance role towards programme/projects deployments.
You are a good match if you have:
- bachelor or Master degree, preferably in business / IT, Scrum Product Owner training and certificate is recommended
- work experience: 8-10 years, including exposure to cross-functional and complex international environment
- demonstrated experience in transactional finance and Record to Report process, specifically BSAR, PEC and Leasing accounting. Understanding of the Record to Report process and the associated risks
- RtR data definition, ERP (SAP S/4), process mapping tools
- process (end-to-end) oriented thinking, combination of analytical and conceptual thinking. Experience with process design & mapping, project management, change management and platform deployment using Agile methodology
- strong communication skills. Ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, addressing conflicting priorities, ensuring tactical alignment. Working with and integrating broad areas within global finance and other global functions. Ability to switch between detail and helicopter view
- has a deep understanding of the business and the importance of creating value for the business and the customer, but also about architecture frameworks
- able to connect IT & business and with multiple key stakeholders at various levels
- English (excellent verbal and written skills).
