Global BSAR - PEC - Leasing Accounting Product Owner

Your daily tasks may include:

• being responsible for the success of BSAR (Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation), Period End Close and Leasing accounting products, and ensuring alignment with the RtR Blueprint by translating process, technology and organisational requirements into the products
• owning the user experience and collaborating with business stakeholders or end users to establish requirements in the form of user stories
• maintaining and refining the product backlogs with the goal of maximising reusability across Operating Companies (OpCos)
• managing the product budget and representing the end user by prioritising content delivery based on business value and team input
• ensuring end‑to‑end process and technology integration by collaborating with other global functions and working closely with global product owners and stakeholders from Business and D&T
• driving product deployments in OpCos through the delivery organisation (e.g., programme/project teams)
• taking a quality assurance role in programme/project deployments

You are a good match if you have:

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in business or IT; Scrum Product Owner training/certification is an advantage
• 8–10 years of experience, including exposure to cross‑functional and complex international environments
• demonstrated experience in transactional finance and the Record‑to‑Report process, especially BSAR, PEC and leasing accounting
• strong understanding of RtR processes and associated risks
• knowledge of RtR data definitions, ERP systems (SAP S/4) and process‑mapping tools
• end‑to‑end process mindset, combining analytical and conceptual thinking; experience in process design and mapping, project management, change management and platform deployments using Agile methodology
• strong communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships, resolve conflicting priorities and ensure tactical alignment
• ability to work across global finance and other global functions, comfortably switching between detailed work and a high‑level perspective
• ability to connect IT and business teams and collaborate with multiple key stakeholders at various levels
