GPM Senior Product Specialist SAP GR & ICMR

As GPM Product Specialist, you will be part of the Global Process Management (GPM) team and part of the respective cross-stream finance product team. As GPM, we are providing BAU support to Opco’s all over the world for DBB, BASE and the finance products. You will be part of the (steam) team, contributing to the E2E process, working together with Process Consultants and Product Specialists from other functions on E2E process.

As GPM Product Specialist, you are a Subject Matter Expert in your field in the area of respective financial product, which covers finance process and its supporting technology. You need to have a complete E2E process knowledge. Your main responsibility is to support the product owner and product team to continuously increase product value on a daily basis. You will guard, improve and expand the Global template of the product. You will maintain the product, serve as an expert and help key-users in the Opco’s solve issues or redirect them to the right person for further support. You will be continuously looking for improvements and driving them to streamline and optimize the E2E-process. E2E in this case also means aligning with process consultants that manage BAU support on ERP to oversee the e2e process crossing the finance product and ERP. You will also be supporting reporting requests from various stakeholders for them to be able to follow up on process performance and compliance. Within the role, we acknowledge a difference in experience and responsibilities for junior, regular, senior specialists and a team lead role.


Your responsibilities would include:


· Support Product Owner in proactively managing respective finance product
· Working as part of product team to increase the product value and realize product backlog
· Providing specialized E2E process and product knowledge to the internal and external stakeholders
· Validate the process designs
· Translate the process standards into solutions into supporting technology
· Identify, own and drive product related improvements
· Propose to Product Owner redesigns of existing process and implementation of new functionalities based on the analysis of improvement opportunities
· Assessing change requests (CRs, BRDs) to implement new functionalities and driving the implementation
· Day-to-day product maintenance – monitoring business changes to be implemented and providing D&T with requests and information required for implementation.
· Analysing issues and incidents before they are handed over to D&T team or product solution provider
· Providing functional / business assessment of issues and incidents
· Performing functional / business testing of new or fixed functionalities (D&T performs technical testing as a first step, then it must be handed to functional support)
· Coordinating UAT with key users
· Ensure process changes are properly implemented using the release management procedure
· Delivering refreshment trainings to key and end users
· Keeping training materials up to date
· Supporting system upgrades, new service packs and new notes implementation
· Supporting globally driven changes impacting the tool set-up, e.g. new IFRS implementation
· Acting as a first point of contact for escalations
· Guide OpCos in scope to follow the standard process
· Ensure process changes are modelled/updated in HEPM
· Ensure OpCo maintain compliance with Data Management Standards
· KPIs/PPIs measurement (quality, time etc)
· Measurement of template usage
· Close cooperation with RAP and GA&R teams to drive complex RTR topics impacting products design
· Provide financial and accounting expertise within product team and towards OpCos
· Provide financial consolidation expertise towards OpCos and external product team stakeholders
· Support OpCos during acquisitions, disposals and other structural changes
· Analyse reported figures in balance sheet and P&L to support complex queries resolution
· Propose improvements in product and process based on critical analysis of financial figures

 

You are a good candidate if you have:


· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in e.g. Accounting or Management Accounting or Management Information Systems
· Strong understanding of Record to Report (RTR) processes and consolidation principles
· Operational experience in RTR, especially with intercompany reconciliation, financial consolidation and financial reporting
· Experience with translating business needs and queries into technical system language
· Experience with issue analysis, system testing and training delivery
· Basic knowledge of change and release management rules
· Nice to have: experience with ICMR and SAP Group Reporting

· Operational experience with CIL Reporting
· Understanding and knowledge of Heineken RtR processes defined in HEPM
· Understanding and knowledge of Heineken accounting policies and procedures related to intercompany, consolidation and reporting process
· Expertise in transactional processes or finance tools
· Experience with multiple tools and ERP systems (for example CFIN countries experience)
· Effective communication, presentation, and time management skills
· Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
