GPM Product Specialist - Basware

As a Product Specialist – Basware, you will serve as a subject matter expert for one of Heineken’s core finance tools, supporting global stakeholders in maintaining and enhancing purchase-to-pay processes.
In this role, you will provide functional support, ensure compliance with global standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Your expertise will play a key role in enabling operational efficiency and process excellence on a global scale.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Providing day-to-day functional support for Basware and related finance tools across global Operating Companies (OpCos)
• Monitoring tool performance and resolving or escalating technical and business issues
• Identifying improvement opportunities and helping implement best practices
• Supporting tool maintenance, updates, and globally driven changes (e.g., IFRS updates)
• Testing new or updated functionalities, coordinating UAT with key users
• Tracking KPIs and compliance metrics, ensuring alignment with policies and data standards
• Acting as a point of contact for escalations and tool-related queries
• Supporting reporting requests and delivering refresher trainings to key and end users
• Collaborating with ERP process consultants to align finance tools with end-to-end process needs.

You're a good candidate if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field
• 3–4 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, ideally within a Shared Services or BPO environment
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PtP finance functions
• 2+ years of experience working with Basware
• Strong analytical and project coordination skills
• A proven track record of contributing to process improvement or standardization initiatives
• A good understanding of Purchase-to-Pay finance processes
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills,.

You're a perfect candidate if you also have:

• Experience in a Shared Services or Global Business Services (GBS) setup
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and working within Agile teams
• Delivered internal finance trainings or supported system migrations
• Basic technical understanding of workflow tools and system integration
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvements.
