GPM Business Consultant - BI

Business Consultant - BI will be building and enhancing reports: from clarifying specifications with our Operating Companies and Global Functions, writing the functional and technical designs, building the reports together with our development team, testing their output and training OpCos in using them. We are particularly looking for someone with a strong Financial background to help us deliver our Finance reports: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, CAPEX, Cash Forecasting and P&VA.

Your responsibilities would include:

• developing and deliver Finance-related BI reports (new reports, new functionalities)
• liaising with senior stakeholders from OpCos and Global Functions on their business and data needs
• translating business requirements into development requirements for the BI developers
• acting as linking pin between Business, BI Development Teams and/or IT
• deciding on dashboard and report structure/tool set up
• validating OpCo data to check if reports are correct
• quality checking on reports delivered by developers to ensure it is in line with what was commissioned
• supporting testing and OpCo training on new reports / tool functionality: responsible for creating training materials and providing training
• monitoring OpCo reports to ensure execution is done as intended
• balancing of interests between OpCos, Global Functions, BASE process standards and IT
• prioritising all these requirements
• safeguarding of the tool design for the global template
• fulfilling business requirements against limited budget and time
• ensuring acceptance in the OpCo.
   

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Power BI on an end-user level (design skills); any developer knowledge is a plus;
• good analytical and project management skills to manage delivery on time and in full (detail orientation, meeting deadlines, error-less delivery);
• assertiveness and ability to challenge requirements to protect the standard and tool design;
• excellent stakeholder management, communication & change management skills;
• experience with HeiLite (MS Navision) or JD Edwards is a plus;
• ability to work independently;
• fluency in English (written and spoken).
