Finance Platforms Consultant

The Finance Platforms Consultant is the central point of contact for both support and deployment of the Autobank solution and is one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint. Finance Solution team is structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the team overall efficiency and effectiveness.
The Finance Platforms Consultant supports the Business Process Owner in translating architecture and requirements into solutions and participates in the technical development of Finance Platforms integrated with Central Finance, as well as standalone finance reconciliation solutions used by HEINEKEN Global Finance.
A part of the Finance Platforms Consultant is also supporting the Business as part of the Product Team for Finance solutions as an IT liaison by cooperating with support partners, reviewing functional and technical designs and managing changes and escalations.

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • ensuring consistency of the overall solution
  • working with the Process Specialist to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements
  • managing the quality of the solution and technical debt
  • identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these
  • maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluate them for applicability
  • keeping up with relevant developments in the Finance area focusing on technical solutions, being together with team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of the Product through the entire Product life cycle
  • delivering working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture
  • being responsible for ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance)
  • being a tech-savvy team member who develops products with innovative elements
  • being able to reduce the complexity of the work that has to be done
  • cooperating with business representatives to work out business requirements and acceptance criteria in the form of user stories, assessing the complexity of these, and translating into implementable solutions and configurations
  • ensuring the product design and implementation adheres to functional requirements and architecture standards
  • demonstrating product features during sprint reviews to stakeholders
  • coordinating work of third-party engineers and GIS/D&T global solutions teams to secure successful IT solutions delivery
  • and any other task assigned by the Line Manager.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics, or other related studies.
  • practical experience minimum of 3-4 years of experience in managing/maintenance of Enterprise level Finance platforms/applications
  • excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing), ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people;
  • experience in the role of a business and technical consultant who is responsible for the maintenance and development of the product
  • analytically and quantitatively strong mindset, highly structured
  • technical background with experience in one or more IT areas
  • proficiency in bank reconciliation tools (preferably Autobank), including automated applications to customer accounts
  • good internal and external (e.g. IBM, Serrala) stakeholder management
  • interest in analysis and problem-solving within the complex IT landscape (System integrations, STM, vendor cloud service, setup mailboxes)
  • curiosity about industry trends and best practices in finance technology and systems
  • experience in being a liaison between the business and IT, translating business needs into technical requirements
  • ability to work in teams and work dedicated to a team
  • working with multi-disciplinary teams to craft IT solutions
  • troubleshooting technology problems.


You are a perfect match if you also have:

 

  • Agile / Scrum knowledge and Project Management experience
  • knowledge of SAP Finance module
  • experience in coordinating work between teams with various backgrounds.
