Finance Platform Lead - EXCISE

Your Responsibilities:
 

• Working within the Tax Finance Platforms product team to transfer business requirements into solutions within the Excise platform in SAP-BTP, safeguarding the template design of our Global Solutions.
• Keeping up with relevant developments in your functional area and ensuring the development, transfer, and retention of knowledge
• Delivering working functional enhancements, including writing and reviewing functional specs and test scripts, within the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire to a zero-defect culture
• Providing support to end users for issue resolution, user acceptance testing, and training
• Managing the quality of the solution and technical debt
• Identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and propose how to resolve these, reducing the complexity of the work that has to be done
• Providing guidance and coaching to other team members on changes throughout the design process, ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy, and support the Product are embedded in the team.

You Are a Good Match If You Have:
 

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Electronics, or other related studies
• A minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, ideally in the Tax domain
• Understanding of Tax determination within procurement-, sales- and logistic processes and related master data in SAP S4 HANA
• Platform architect experience in SAP-BTP (Business Technology Platform) developments.
• Strong interface technology knowledge
• Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Team player and able to work effectively and in an agile way at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
• Able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others
• Experience in rolling out solutions within complex Global programs.

You Are a Perfect Match If You Also Have:
 

• Experience with Excise processes and/or solutions
• Experience in working with JIRA and SNOW solutions
• ITIL process knowledge
• Experience working Agile business environment.
