FP&A Controller

Your daily tasks may include:
- coordinating, verifying, and ensuring the accuracy of processes executed by FP&A teams, encompassing month-end closing, budgeting (SP, AP), and forecasting (RoFo)
- conducting thorough financial analysis to support decision-making, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and trend analysis
- preparing and presenting financial reports and dashboards to OpCo stakeholders
- playing a key role in driving transformations, process standardization, and process improvements within the FP&A area for a specific OpCo (Cluster). Taking the lead on streamlining projects aimed at boosting efficiency in FP&A operations, including initiatives like automating reporting, reducing manual tasks, and standardizing processes
- sharing professional expertise with colleagues and providing mentoring and guidance to others within the FP&A area
- identifying and solving problems in complex situations; generating possible solutions, analyzing each
- establishing strong business partnering relationships with OpCo stakeholders (FD, OpCo Business Controllers, A&R Manager, Head of departments)
- explaining/presenting complex information, anticipating potential objections, and preparing persuasive cases to influence stakeholders
- ensuring compliance with accounting standards, financial control regulations, and company policies
- collaborating with various departments to understand their business needs and providing expertise to support decision-making processes
- acting as the main contact point for OpCo concerning all FP&A and financial control-related matters
- handling any other tasks assigned by the FP&A Manager/Senior FP&A Manager within the scope of functional responsibilities.
You are a good match if you have:
- Master’s degree in finance or accounting or similar
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or education in progress desired
- minimum 4 years of experience in leading financial accounting, controlling, planning and financial analysis projects/activities
- strong stakeholder and communication management skills
- very good understanding of financial statement and accounting principles proven by previous experience/roles
- Business Acumen, analytical skills, decision-making skills, Change management skills
- ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple work assignments simultaneously and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast
- great relationship building skills - ability to quickly form working relationships, gain credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels, as well as senior management
- data presentation skills
- problem solving skills with capabilities to develop the big picture and complete it
- experience with FP&A systems (SAP, Oracle or Anaplan).
