Data Quality Specialist

This role is a part of the Data Management Department, Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International.
As the Data Quality Specialist you will work with colleagues across Heineken to implement, and mature, our approach to how data quality is measured and visualised. This will include facilitating our Design Reference Groups for DQ, engaging with colleagues from our operating companies and tracking of continuous improvement actions and progress.
A core goal of our data quality service is to provide operating companies with the insight they need to remediate data quality issues. Additionally, functions running strategic programmes require the ability to more accurately understand and plan for the work required to get data ready for change. In In the Data Quality Specialist role, you will provide services to support these outcomes.
You will also work with colleagues from our business and subject matter experts to identify new and evolving data quality requirements needed to deliver targeting metrics.
Maturing our DQ services will require that you will work collaboratively also with technology specialists to understand new functionality of the tools that we use and track implementation of enhancements.


Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • developing and improving processes for data quality monitoring using new tools and PowerBI dashboards
  • establishing and overseeing the delivery of accurate and efficient KPIs for data quality, ensuring alignment with timelines
  • acting as custodian for OpCo engagement materials related to data quality, ensuring they are current and accessible
  • managing the data quality communication plan and schedule, ensuring it is updated and available as needed
  • coordinating Change Management and ensuring delivery of actions in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
  • organizing data quality forums for OpCos and providing necessary analysis to inform improvements in data services
  • supporting the development of the data quality (DQ) strategy and rollout plan for the DQ Factory
  • gathering DQ requirements from OpCos, business, and functional owners to address critical business issues
  • evaluating projects against available resources and propose a DQ agenda and planning
  • empowering team growth, providing regular feedback to team members to support their professional development
  • liaising with Stakeholders; serving as the point of contact for all DQ-related topics, collaborating with business, functional owners, and subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • analyzing Trends and KPIs aligned with HEINEKEN's goals and deliver regular trend analysis and insights to the Data Management Leadership Team (DM LT).


You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • 4-6 years working for FMCG companies or similar industries
  • a Bachelors/Master’s degree
  • proven experience in a data quality analyst role in a large enterprise with a diverse and complex set of business applications and data (or consultancy experience)
  • knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in business domains
  • a strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles
  • knowledge of data quality processes and workflow, and proven experience of using tools for data profiling, discovery and assessment
  • excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
  • a strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • proven record of Master data knowledge
  • proven record of SAP experience
  • experience with data quality tools and technologies, such as Ataccama, Informatica, or similar
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously.
