As a Data Quality Specialist, you immerse yourself in a collaborative Agile squad alongside data architects, product owners, chapter leads, and engineering teams. Your impact will extend beyond our largest operating companies, as you contribute to an expansive roadmap, establishing trust in our data assets, standardizing data quality rules across the organization, and reducing the risks associated with poor data health.
Your responsibilities would include:
- ensuring consistency and reliability of the overall data landscape
- working with the Product Owner and Chapter Lead to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate data quality requirements
- supporting the Product Owner and Chapter Lead with facilitate the gathering, definition and prioritization of data quality rules with key stakeholders
- supporting Product Owner and Chapter Lead to define and own the value definition of Data Quality initiatives
- supporting the Product Owner and Chapter Lead to translate client’s data needs into product backlogs, DQ rules, detailed requirements documents and remediation plans
- completing data quality requirements with Acceptance Criteria
- supporting the Product Owner and Chapter Lead to breakdown, decompose and describe data issues into actionable Stories
- working ahead of the team to profile data for the next Sprint's Stories
- providing discipline, rigor and technical skills to the data profiling and validation process
- supporting the Product Owner and Chapter Lead to engage stakeholders to ensure the Team is receiving necessary inputs regarding data standards
- managing the quality of the data solution and monitoring technical debt. Assist in testing and quality assurance processes for data pipelines
- maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and data governance best practices and evaluate them for applicability
- ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Data Privacy, Compliance, Security)
- ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to measure, monitor, and improve Data Quality are embedded in the team.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- at least 3-5 years of relevant (global) experience in a similar position (Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Analysis)
- experience on deploying Data Quality solutions or Master Data Management (MDM) across multiple markets
- very good knowledge of Data Quality dimensions, methodologies, and lifecycle management
- analytical and problem-solving skills (specifically Root Cause Analysis for data errors).
