This role is a part of the Data Management Department, Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International.
As a Data Mapping Specialist with business expertise, you will be responsible for translating complex data sets into clear, actionable insights, ensuring accurate data mapping across various systems. This role requires a deep understanding of business-specific data structures and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accuracy and usability.
Your responsibilities would include:
- data mapping; developing and maintaining comprehensive data mapping documentation, ensuring alignment with business requirements and data governance standards
- having business acumen; leveraging business knowledge to assess data relevance and integrity, providing insights that inform data strategy and decision-making
- collaboration; working closely with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to identify data needs and facilitate data integration projects
- ensuring data quality assurance; conducting data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
- providing training and support; providing training and support to team members on data mapping processes and tools, fostering a culture of data literacy
- providing continuous improvement; identifying opportunities for process improvements in data mapping and data management practices, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- 4-6 years working for FMCG companies or similar industries
- a Bachelors/Master’s degree
- proven experience in data mapping, data analysis, or data management, preferably within industries like Food, Soft Beverages or Alcoholic Beverages (specifically within business functional or similar)
- knowledge and experience working with different data structures, including JSON format
- experience working in Azure DevOps
- experience working in Jira
- knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in business domains
- a strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration principles
- a strong knowledge of data mapping principles and best practices
- excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- familiarity with data mapping principles, tools and systems
- good knowledge of data governance frameworks and standards
- process management and risk management experience
- excellent written and verbal English.
