Data Dictionary Specialist

This role is a part of the Data Management Department, Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International.
The role is part of the Data Dictionary chapter, being part of Data Foundation tower, with the aim to keep one common and consistent Data language we use in Heineken which focuses on translating Business language into unified Data Standards, Business Terms and Business Rules across all business domains globally.

Your responsibilities would include:

• leading discussions with business and data teams to establish and standardize Business Terms, Data Standards, and Business Rules
• defining and enforcing data consistency and governance best practices across business domains
• conducting gap analyses between business requirements and existing data structures
• working closely with data engineers, data architects, and business analysts to align technical and business definitions
• training and educating teams on data definitions, usage guidelines, and best practices
• identifying and help resolve data discrepancies between systems and domains
• contributing to continuously improve the wows (process, tolls and organization).

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Bachelor/Master's degree
• 5+ years of experience in a data related role
• background in FMCG industry (preferred)
• understanding (passion!) of data quality, governance and lifecycle management
• ability to translate business requirements into data requirements
• strong communication skills with ability to be concise and manage stakeholder expectation
• experience with the SAP ERP specific on Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master is a must (depends on the domain)
• familiarity with other type of data (e.g. transactional data) is desirable
• knowledge of GS1 Industry Standards, e-Commerce, e-Supply Chain and e-Finance is preferred (depends on the domain)
• hands-on experience working with Data Management tools (e.g. Collibra, Power Me, Ataccama, possibly DataBricks)
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data inconsistencies and governance gaps 
• familiarity with data dictionary tools and systems
• good knowledge of data governance frameworks and standards.
