DBB Process Consultant FP&A

The DBB Process Consultant FP&A is part of the Standing Organisation and is responsible for safeguarding the DBB template ways of working. This includes assessing and retrofitting template changes into existing processes. The role provides functional and process-related support to DBB key users, ensuring consistent and correct application of the DBB template within the FP&A stream. The consultant actively drives conformance to the template ways of working while identifying and implementing continuous improvements.
Your responsibilities would include:
- defining, maintaining, and governing the Global template
- supporting the E2E Stream Lead in proactively managing the respective E2E process
- validating process designs and ensuring alignment of standard processes and HEPM
- translating process standards into solutions across CORE and business platforms
- highlighting inconsistencies between standard processes and CORE/business platforms
- proposing redesigns of existing processes and designing new processes/advanced functionalities based on improvement opportunities and stakeholder input
- creating and updating procedures and manuals for CORE and business platforms that detail processes and serve as a basis for work execution
- managing DBB artefacts (SOPs, training materials, HEPM flows, etc.) to ensure consistency and up-to-date documentation
- facilitating process change requests and temporary derogations
- analysing the impact of requested functional changes and advising stakeholders
- introducing and rolling out new functionalities (retrofit template changes to live OpCos) and assessing business implications
- guiding OpCos to follow standard processes and supporting UAT coordination
- notifying stakeholders of major incidents affecting business and communicating possible workarounds
- evaluating the impact of new capabilities on the current Global template
- collaborating with Functions and Reference Groups (selected OpCos) to assess improvement potential
- proposing, implementing, and monitoring measurable PPIs; driving continuous improvement initiatives based on PPI results
- supporting effective change management to ensure adoption of process and capability changes, including engaging stakeholders, creating awareness and urgency, incorporating change management activities into program plans, and addressing cultural sensitivities.
You are a good candidate if you:
- bring 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a complex international environment and/or the FMCG industry
- have experience in business process design and modelling techniques and tools
- communicate complex topics clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders
- demonstrate strong consultancy skills and show critical thinking when required
- practical experience in management reporting, profitability & variance analysis (rules, principles, objectives, methodology, data model — commerce, supply chain, overheads, dimensions), management accounting, cil requirements for managerial reporting, knowledge of relevant datasets in scope of bpm, month end closing activities, and capex (reporting, master data maintenance, budgeting cycle).
