As the D&T Solution Lead for Finance – MtC Receivables Management, you will lead a team of Technology Specialists responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining business platforms that support the entire MtC Receivables Management process. This includes overseeing credit, collection, dispute management, and factoring activities, while ensuring the consistent application of SAP Receivables Management (SAP FSCM) and Factoring solutions across the organisation.
Partnering closely with Business Product Owner(s), D&T Product Owners and external partners, you will support the D&T Manager Finance in shaping the multi-year roadmap, set engineering and delivery standards, and coach cross-functional product teams to reliably ship value —securely, compliantly, and at scale.
Your responsibilities would include:
People Leadership
- Lead the Functional D&T Finance MtC Receivable management ( ~6 FTE) : workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, goal-setting, performance, and a culture of learning, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Build succession plans and talent pipelines for leadership and expert tracks
- Mentor Technology Specialists and Business Analysts; set and enforce standards, best practices and architectural guidelin.
Product, Delivery & Portfolio
- Co-create, maintain, and deliver the roadmap for Finance Business Platforms with senior Business and Technology stakeholders
- Drive Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban), DevOps, to improve flow efficiency and time-to-value
- Design and improve processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and straight-through processing
- Establish and operate the product support model and business-as-usual ways of working: define service transition from build to run; set up tiered support (L1/L2/L3), SLAs, incident/problem/change & release management, knowledge base; and drive continuous service improvement
- Establish and maintain robust governance and documentation for the delivery platform, ensuring consistent standards, compliance, and clear guidance to enable efficient, scalable, and high-quality solution delivery.
Architecture & Engineering
- Define architecture and design for Finance Business Platforms based on functional/non-functional requirements, balancing D&T standards and technology constraints.
- Ensure that solution designs align to the enterprise architectural vision, technical roadmap, security, and data standards.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Collaborate with external vendors to deliver roadmap components; ensure SLAs, technical expectations, and integration requirements are met
- Serve as the internal point of contact for vendor-related technical escalations and continuous optimization.
Financial & Budget Management
- Own the solution budget across build/run (Opex/Capex): AP, ROFO(s) and month-end close in partnership with Finance team
- Track and optimize spend (vendor SOWs, licensing, consultancy costs)
- Lead business cases and funding.
Risk, Controls & Governance
- Embed controls and governance across the product lifecycle (design, build, test, release, run)
- Proactively manage operational risk, auditability, and compliance expectations (e.g. Internal Controls, GDPR).
You are a good candidate if you have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in technical/consulting roles within complex environments with end-to-end delivery accountability.
• Proven leadership of federated or matrixed product teams (direct, indirect line management and external consultants).
• Experience in managing functional teams, budgets, and resource planning.
• Advanced knowledge in MtC Finance process domains (e.g. Credit-, Collection-, Dispute management, Factoring.)
• Advanced experience in implementing MTC Finance solutions, preferably SAP-FSCM (SAP Receivable Management) and potentially Customer Factoring in S4 HANA.
• Hands-on experience in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) within a product operating model.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success delivering scalable, secure solutions in corporate settings.
• Proactive problem-solver and change agent with a structured, results-oriented approach.
• Excellent (senior) stakeholder management; strong interpersonal relationship-building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Experience guiding/mentoring team members; collaborative, pragmatic team player
• Acts as a role model by demonstrating accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, inspiring others to uphold excellence in delivery and teamwork.
