D&T Lead IIoT Data Platform
This role is part of the D&T department of HEINEKEN International and is in Heineken Global Shared Service, Within Global Technology Supply Chain in D&T, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced D&T Lead to guide our Smart Brewery Services.
The Smart Brewery is an industrial facility with very high efficiency, very low maintenance time that can be monitored, diagnosed, and improved on site or remotely thanks to digital.
You will lead the Industrial IoT Production product team (Production Data Platform) from Connected Brewery Portfolio (CB), providing services to our shopfloor operators and technicians to make their life easier in an increasingly complex world and unlock opportunities through insights we never had before.
We are well on track to digitalize our breweries in processes and methodologies that affect the day-to-day life of our shop floor people, such as safety, manual work execution, problem-solving and continuous improvement (TPM).

You will work closely with the Development Teams of our suppliers, Product Owners and Deployment Teams within the HEINEKEN Global and opco organizations.
The D&T Lead IIoT data platform is responsible for the execution and delivery of the Industrial IoT Production product. Technology expert who co-owns the product definition with the Product Owner (multiple teams owner). Represents the voice of the Brewery and is responsible for ensuring alignment with all relevant stakeholders. Creates and maintains the Product Backlog providing the team with required information on what needs to be delivered and in which order and prioritizing it with the Product Owner. He or she co-owns the end-to-end budget for the product, e.g. resources, investment, consultancy and technology. Drives the deployments of products in the Brewery by engaging the Brewery Directors aligning on resources, budgets and timing.
You are a good candidate if you:
- have Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics or other related studies
- have knowledge about process automation, experience on data cloud solutions;
- are inspiring leader with strong relationship skills (within HEINEKEN organization) to influence, support and drive priorities;
- have ability to work collaboratively with others and navigate complex decision-making;
- know how to own leadership, people and stakeholder management skills;
- have a deep understanding of the business and the importance of creating value for the business and the customer, but also about the architecture frameworks;
- have knowledge about legal frameworks and security reviews;
- have extensive experience working with backlogs (features, epics, stories, bugs, spikes) and roadmap estimation (capacity, prioritization, dependencies, etc) in agile setups.
- have strong background in customer-focused technology business;
- have an entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to connect with internal and external audiences including senior management;
- are able to push back, but also able to pull when necessary;
- have clear understanding of OT and IT differences and challenges. Has ideally deployed or worked in OT specific products (e.g. MES, IoT Platforms, Historians, etc) with a variety of business and technical scenarios. General knowledge of industrial protocols (S7, Controllogix, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, MQTT, etc) is a plus.
- have IoT, Asset Performance Management or Cloud Historian product deployments experience.
- have very good understanding and experience with networking concepts (routing, FW rules, sockets, stateful connections, reverse proxies, etc)
- have extensive experience (+8 years) in designing and delivering cloud data platforms, including but not limited to infrastructure, data pipelines, storage patterns, data mesh, security policies, workloads management, large scale application deployment and lifecycle, E2E observability. Realtime / timeseries ingestion and secure scalable data sharing approaches (API, streams, etc) experience highly desirable.
- have extensive working experience in designing and delivering scalable, cost-efficient cloud data platforms with AWS cloud stack (Lambdas, RDS, Redshift, S3, Athena Glue, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, SageMaker, hosted Grafana, Quicksight, etc). Other similar clouds experiences (Azure, GCP) welcomed for consideration.
- have general knowledge/concepts of timeseries non-SQL DBs (e.g. InfluxDB, timescaleDB, questDB, etc.) and infrastructure as code / everything as code (e.g. Terraform).
- have general knowledge and experience with versioning control and release management (not only for code / repositories, but also for Knowledge Management / product release notes).
