D&T Business Control Analyst - Regions (AMEE & APAC)

*This position is within the Global Business Control function, with the reporting manager located in Amsterdam.*

 

Your responsibilities would include:

 

  • being a partner with and supporting AMEE and APAC regional D&T directors and OpCo teams from a business control perspective, and support on priority D&T Business Control operational activities
  • managing the regional D&T cost center and invoicing, analyzing and reporting on monthly, quarterly, and annual actual regional D&T financial results, supporting the region in the annual and strategic planning (AP / SP) processes, supporting region with ad-hoc financial and business control queries and analysis
  • working closely with regional D&T teams for the annual and strategic plan budget build-up, consolidating regional entities and analyzing budget amounts compared to other years and scenarios, providing insight into variances
  • communication with regional D&T directors and teams on various financial and business control topics. Supporting regions with D&T financial / business control trainings and ad-hoc queries.
  • attending regional D&T operating company meetings, providing insight into D&T business control priorities
  • analyzing and consolidate large data sets, synthesizing key messages from the data to provide valuable insights
  • year-end process & monthly accruals for D&T regional office.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

  • University degree
  • 4-6 years of demonstrated experience in business control, related systems and reporting and experience in a large multinational (preferably FMCG) or consultancy firm
  • experience with financial IT systems (SAP, consolidation systems), Microsoft Suite, Service Now and PowerBI
  • key leadership skills: shape, connect, develop, deliver and/or role model HEINEKEN behaviors
  • ability to see the big picture, as well as deep dive into detailed financial analysis.  Requires strong analytical skills and ability to consolidate information into a simple executive summary
  • strong communication and relationship skills, especially with regional D&T directors.  Manages relationships with stakeholders on strategic and tactical level
  • other skills such as people management, building collaborative relationships, and flexibility in prioritizing daily activities
  • excellent verbal and written English.

  • experience in Digital & Technology function in Heineken is a plus.
