HEINEKEN is continuously improving its ability to make operational decisions for product introductions, supply chain changes and to manage profitability. To ensure that decisions are taken on a qualitative and consistent set of data we are growing our global data management capabilities.
OpCo Master Data Services Chapter Lead reports to OpCo Master Data Services Lead. The OpCo Master Data Services Chapter Lead supervises a team of Master Data Specialists and Local Data Stewards who are responsible for execution of the processes related to the creation, maintenance and continuous improvement of master data to ensure optimal execution of business processes as well as reporting accuracy. Furthermore, s/he contributes to the overall management and quality control of master data.
Your responsibilities would include:
• leading by example and actively manage performance and development of teams and individuals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
• coaching and supporting direct reports on topics such as PDP and career planning
• motivating and enabling high-performing and engaged teams
• fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies
• clearly defining the scope and responsibilities of direct reports to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategies, which includes setting expectations, providing guidance, and ensuring that each team member understands their role and contributions to the overall success of the team
• overseeing recruitment, onboarding, holiday planning, and timesheet management to ensure efficient processes and accurate records
• coordinating team schedules and leave requests to maintain optimal performance and availability
• managing day-to-day activities, service level performance, and reports
• overseeing objective setting and end-year reviews, ensuring alignment with the global data management strategy, conducting regular reviews and providing continuous feedback throughout the year
• monitoring and reporting on the performance and workload of the team, using metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives
• acting as the first point of contact for data-related issues and coordinating escalations to ensure timely resolution and improved data quality
• identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance data management efficiency and effectiveness
• overseeing the implementation and adherence to data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data consistency and accuracy
• communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on data management initiatives and performance
• developing and supporting the team to respond to current and future demands of a constantly changing technological and business landscape
• guarding and supervising the consistency and quality of Master Data within systems
• taking active part in day-to-day activities of Master Data Specialists.
You are a good candidate if you have:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• min. 5 years of proven experience in master data management, data governance, or a related role
• 1-3 years of experience leading the team
• strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
• experience with reviewing, conducting data analysis
• very good knowledge of MS Office
• ability to establish credibility across business and IT and able to get involved and participate in data management projects
• ability to translate Business requirements into the Data Solution
• experience in operating in large corporations (preferred)
• strong advocate for Data Management
• firm understanding of data, data flows and processes
• knowledge in a deep Business Domains (Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance) is a plus
• knowledge of data management tools and technologies, such as SAP, Collibra, and MDM tools is a plus.
