This role is part of the Data Management Department, being a part of Digital & Technology Global Team (D&T) of HEINEKEN International. The purpose of this role is to act both as a line manager for chapter members as well as the thought leader for the chapters’ area of expertise.
The aim of the chapter is to ensure the effective management and governance of master data across the organization, ensuring it is accurate, consistent, and align with the Business needs.
The Chapter provides the expertise and leadership required to deliver a unified approach to master data management, supporting business objectives while ensuring data is properly governed, maintained, and leveraged for the enterprise.

Your responsibilities would include:
• working hand–in–hand with Product Owner and Product Team on the Product E2E Lifecycle assuring the Chapter efforts are aligned with the product Roadmap ad business priorities
• leading and mentoring a cross-functional chapters of up to 12 focused on implementing and evolving the data Observability product
• defining and tracking Chapter’s goals and supports the members in their skills development
• ensuring the right skill set is on place by facilitating recruitment, onboarding and fit-to-goal capabilities in the Chapter
• advancing the growth of chapter members by coaching, mentoring, giving guidance /feedback on the domain specific expertise of the chapter
• fostering a collaborative, results-oriented culture with a focus on continuous improvement
• ensuring the standard of WoWs and designed and in place followed by all the Chapter members
• monitoring and managing Chapter’s resources optimal allocation across different Domains and Product development
• managing external resources acquired to support Chapter in delivering product functionalities and quality
• partnering with Product Owner to ensure most efficient value chain improvements to business
• partnering with Architecture to ensure products are developed in a robust, secure and consistent manner that is within the right architectural guidance
• depending on the Chapter size might be also involved in operational activities.
You are a good candidate if you have:
• Bachelor/master's degree in computer science, Telecom, Electronics or other related studies
• 10 years of relevant in the data related field, with several years of managerial experience. 5+ years relevant experience in Data Engineering practices
• required work experience in field of expertise: Hands-on experience implementing or managing data observability solutions, including monitoring, alerting, and anomaly detection systems. Strong knowledge of cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, SAP HANA CP) and distributed data systems like Snowflake or Databricks. Deep understanding of industry best practices for observability in modern data ecosystems, including data lineage and metadata management. Familiarity with data governance principles and regulatory frameworks like GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA
• at least 2-3 years of experience leading technical teams, with a track record of mentoring and growing team members
• proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams/chapter, particularly with product owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders
• practical knowledge of Collibra, AWS, Azure, DataBricks
• familiarity with observability platforms like Monte Carlo, Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or custom-built solutions
• ability to implement best practices for managing metadata, business glossaries, and data definitions project management, change management
• experience in implementing or managing metadata management systems is a plus.
• ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
