Business Controlling Analyst

Ensuring close alignment between business and technical requirements during developments, ensuring deployment of global standards and ways of working.

Your responsibilities would include:

- Acts as a Business Partner for D&T Functional Directors and their teams + other business leaders across the entire field of Business Control for D&T, dependent on what is needed
- Develop business cases (e.g. contract renegotiation), financial analysis & scenarios, (external) benchmarks and ad-hoc insights to drive D&T functional decision making and intervention
- Maximise D&T performance by working alongside, challenging and influencing the D&T teams and advise your stakeholders on corrective strategies and/or actions that enhance performance & value
- Ensure the quality, completeness and on-time delivery of financial planning processes and proper coordination with all stakeholders involved
- Identify alternatives and opportunities autonomously in order to support the cost & investment targets established during AP or Rolling Forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement through new or enhanced solutions to improve efficiency of the process, improve the quality of the data and bring the level of insight to a better level
- Lead the month-end close process, actuals analysis for your scope, being 100% aligned with the relevant D&T stakeholders
- Lead the budget preparation: Annual Plans & quarterly RoFos in terms of FTEs, RUN and CHANGE costs
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Business Controller within the scope of functional responsibilities

 


You are a good candidate if you have:


Must have (all levels):

- Education: University level
- Work experience: 5-8 years
- Required work experience in field of expertise: e.g. demonstrated experience in business control, finance management or managerial reporting and experience in a large multinational (preferably FMCG) or consultancy firm.
- Other fields of expertise: experience in internal / external audit and general knowledge on our business
- Functional skills: experience with IT systems, Microsoft Office, knowledge of industry trends


Nice to have:

- CIMA qualification / student
- APPTIO system knowledge


Language(s):

- Excellent written and verbal English
