The Business Analyst Chapter Lead is part of the Digital & Technology division of HEINEKEN International, based in Heineken Global Shared Service, Krakow, Poland. As part of the D&T department, which brings cutting-edge innovation, strong technology, and advanced analytics to HEINEKEN, the Chapter Lead plays a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The Business Analyst Chapter Lead is responsible for leading the Business Analyst Chapter, focusing on people and competency management. This role focuses on people and competency management, working closely with product owners, tribe leads, and other stakeholders to understand Product Team needs and support hiring, mentoring, and developing talent to achieve business goals. This Chapter Lead position is focussed on building the business analyst competency in the area of HyperAutomation (Automation, Lowcode and GenAI). The Chapter Lead is a duo role, besides the competency management , the Chapter Lead is also a business analyst in one of the Hyperautomation product teams.
Your responsibilities would include:
- supporting and enabling chapter members in their personal development through coaching and mentorship
- conducting regular performance reviews as a line manager, incorporating feedback from stakeholders
- owning the hiring to retiring life cycle for the chapter or team, and closely collaborating with HR and recruitment teams
- leading competency development by identifying growth needs and learning from industry trends, peers, and other organizations
- collaborating with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to understand business analysis needs and fulfilling them through mentoring and recruitment
- working closely with the Portfolio Manager to align with strategic direction and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations
- performing the role of a Business Analyst within a dedicated Product Team, delivering product increments, collecting and translating business requirements, and managing stakeholders
- driving Opportunity & Value Management across the organization and bridging the gap between business needs and automation solutions.
You are a good candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a relevant field
- 8-10 years’ experience in a business analysist
- 5+ years’ experience in IT
- line manager experience
- deep hands-on experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and delivering business insights
- experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
- excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- inspirational servant leader for the Chapter
- coaching and mentoring experiences
- PSPO or PSM certification
- Lean Certification
- experience/familiarity with user centric design (UX/UI) practices
- knowledge on software development and lifecycle management
- fluent in both written and spoken English
- strong knowledge and hands-on experience in business analysis practices
- expertise in at least one core area of business analysis, e.g., requirements gathering, process modelling, etc.
- good understanding of and exposure to working in large IT & enterprise work culture
- affinity for working with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds
- ability to lead by example, define and drive the agenda with specific objectives in a challenging environment
- experience working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and a long-term vision
- experience with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
