As our Business Analyst you are part of the Loyalty Product Team consisting of multiple experts with miscellaneous capabilities (both technical and non-technical) collaborating on a specific product. You act as one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the loyalty product at the end of each sprint. The loyalty product team is structured and empowered by the organization where they organize and manage their own work. This results in synergy enabling the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

 

You support, guide, challenge the Product Owner and team translating business needs and requirement into detailed functional specifications for product features. By nature, you are eager to understand business and IT processes to both identify and address challenges, leveraging each member's expertise for effective problem-solving.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner in facilitating the gathering, definition and prioritization of requirements with key stakeholders
  • Supporting the Product Owner to translates client’s business needs into product backlogs, user stories, detailed business requirements documents and use cases, defining the solution
  • Supporting the Product Owner in breakdown, decomposing and describing and documenting business needs into product needs and (technical) requirements to translate these into deliverable units of work —Epics/Features/Stories
  • Proactively participate and collaborate with the Product Team and partners to ensure end-product meets business requirements by validating and testing the product increments through the specified acceptance criteria
  • Managing the quality of the solution and technical debt. Assist in testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Giving admin user trainings for the new clients
  • Forging relationships globally to enhance solution maturity, both technically and business-wise
  • Providing discipline, rigor and technical skills to the requirements definition and validation process
  • Ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy and support the Product are embedded in the team
  • Collaborating with both technical product teams and business unit's crossover different locations
  • Analyzing the data needs for implementing the new product or replacing the existing solution with new product

 

You are a good candidate if:

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant (global) experience in a similar position
  • Experience defining requirements and deploying Commerce IT solutions internationally
  • Good knowledge of Commerce business processes and functionalities in Commerce area (e.g., e-commerce B2B/B2C, sales order management, pricing & promotions, customer loyalty management, customer service, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of market leader technology solutions in Commerce area (see previous point for examples)
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Good understanding of system integration and deployment processes
  • Good knowledge of MySQL or another database and querying language
  • Familiarity with at least one major (data) cloud platform, e.g. Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, documentation and analyzing skills
  • Good skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
  • Experience of working in a deadline driven environment with rapid release cycles
  • Experience with Agile way of working
  • Experience in rollout global solution operating across the markets will be considered as a plus
