Technician I (Packaging)
Measures of success:
KPIs: Safety implementation, Process standard, Packaging quality, performance, 5S/HOC.
Purpose of the job:
Ensure safety agenda is implemented in the daily job. The process and product related tasks are executed in a qualitative way. Improve the key performance indicators and production losses, leading to a safe working environment on machine/area.
Key Accountabilities & Activities:
Safety, food safety and sustainability
- Works in line with the defined and implemented safety and food safety standards. Following the 5S, Housekeeping and HACCP related to the work place.
Quality of the process and product
- Makes all the quality checks in line with the standards and procedures on complex packaging machines.
TPM and continuous improvement
- Executes the tagging process, CILT and applies problem solving tools. Participates and starts leading the improvement teams.
Process management
- Executes all the packaging operations on complex machines in line with the valid standards. Manage documentation and reporting for the working area.
Equipment management
- Operates the complex packaging machines (e.g. bottle washer, EBI, filler, labeler, pasteurizer flash/tunnel).
Results
- Safe working environment on machine/area. All problems related to safety timely recorded and processed. Clean and tidy working area with no risks related to the product.
- All quality checks are done and meet expectations; deviations are timely recorded and processed.
- Tagging and CILT process embedded in the daily activities. All the losses recognised. Positive results of the improvement teams.
- Stable packaging process without deviations. All documentation is well managed.
- Machines are running at desired speed and performance.
Bachelor or Associate degree. Preferably in beverage/maintenance operation shop floor experience
