Sales Insights Manager

Purpose of the job:

Lead and conduct analysis, provide consultancy to our business areas, create data products and work to provide insight and foresight from data to improve operations and gain competitive advantage through data.

Operations: 

 

  • Owner of master data, outlets, distributors and reporting on a day to day basis
  • Owner of internal and external sales data including
  • Ensure and drive smooth sales reporting (sales performance, market share, Industry performance, value chain, route to consumer…) & planning cycle.
  • Enforce data sanity from trade by challenging the answer the trade in the purpose to ensure quality of data and correct execution and communicate and drive changes if necessary, to improve data collection productivity.
  • Ensure smooth process of monthly sales execution results & daily basic responsibilities tracker.
  • Drive collaboration with IT, trade marketing, & sales operations team to ensure alignment of sales execution performance tracker.

Analytical: 

  • Drive data analysis to design predictive systems or improve the performance of systems
  • Business partner to commercial to support sales initiative business cases study and process of execution.
  • Drive evaluate monthly and annual sales goals, quotas and forecasts and keep track of market/ industry influences.
  • Ensure quality collection checks and robust data analysis to evaluate sale volume, market share, value chain, and business opportunities through research and evaluate economic, competitor, market, industry and customer growth trends and conditions.

Communication:

  • Present complex ideas and their value proposition to non-technical audience as a coherent story with clear and easy to follow conclusions (This will include visualization skill/tool)
  • Provide guidance to business decisions with interpreting statistics, prepare high-level presentations of data for executive review (This will include visualization skill/tool)
  • Design Automatic dashboard to visualize various commercial information.
  • Transform data/ analysis to a business language.
  • Present actionable information and insights to business partner and management.
  • Answer questions about sale trends through various analysis and scenario.

Innovation:

  • Continuously develop and present innovative ideas based on data driven approach in order to improve current business practices


Knowledge: 

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
  • At least 2 to 3 years working experiences in banking, insurance, telecom, FMCGs, Audit firm, or research – (any in business analyst fields)
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft excel & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent project management and organizational and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and demonstrate ability to multitask and prioritize
  • High level of organization and detail-orientation
  • Preferred experiences in project management, research analysis, and any business case study/analysis.
  • Experiences in working with multiple stake holders and managing expectation.
