Head of Technology
Lead and guide the work of technical staffs; serve as a point of contact for the OpCo. Help determine the technological needs of the OpCo. Implement / deploy the Core & Business systems to fulfil organizational requirements. Maintain / support the OpCo Infrastructure & IT service needs.
- Define infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes that conform to global guidelines.
- Maintain the OpCo system landscape and roadmap
- Analyse business requirements of IT throughout the OpCo
- Focus to safeguard business continuity
- Maintain essential IT operations, including management and monitoring of (vendors of) cloud and SaaS solutions in use.
- Monitor performance of technology systems and processes to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the infrastructure.
- Maintain OpCo Core & Business Platforms
- Monitor & improve SLA performance for D&T services
- Lead the technology team of the OpCo.
- Develop and upskill the technology team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering or a related discipline
- Good command in English, both written and spoken
- 8+ years of working experience in IT with minimum 3+ years in the management role
- Proven experience in managing a team.
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical processes to business stakeholders.
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, current equipment and technologies, system performance monitoring, cloud, and mobile solutions.
- Expertise in managing the implementation, configuration, and testing of solutions.
- Strong understanding of business and processes
- Experience with define D&T strategies and roadmaps
