External Relations and Partnership Manager

Purpose of the Job:

This role is responsible for cultivating and maintaining key influencer relationships with Cambodia’s legislatures and lobbyists in a manner that enables the business's freedom to operate and enhances the company’s reputation.

Key Accountabilties:

Public and Regulatory Affairs Management

• Support public affairs agenda to address key risks and market- opportunities with a clear, prioritized roadmap for action, focused on key issues and opportunities.
• Contribute to implement stakeholder engagement plan with support from PA Manager.
• Develop regulatory strategies and update based upon regulatory changes.
• Proactively detect regulations, engage and advise the business on risks and opportunities.
• Negotiate with regulatory authorities during the development and review process.

Change Management:

• Plan and design a road map with a proposal for solution on the issue concerning regulations.    
• Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders to help support a smooth change management.
• Develop mitigation actions to counter lack of willingness to change.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in law or related field preferred
• 3-5 years professional experience in Regulatory and Public Affairs.
• Fluent in both English and Khmer

•  Logical & critical thinking skills

   

•  Excellent writing & presentation skill

• Good basis on networking & influencing skills

• Information gathering and analysing skills to be able to summarize key information

   

•  Understanding of how traditional and social media works

• Well organized and good foundation on project management 

• Ability to support the complex issues, grasp complex information and communicate simply with 

     Support from PA Manager.
