Consumer & Market Insights Executive

Summary of the Position:

 

Provide support to Senior CMI Manager in their role in driving and giving strategy direction to OPCO’s business and brands objectives. Support the CMI function in research planning for the Heineken teams to effectively support commercial function.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Market Insight

▪ Provide a supportive role to the CMI Manager to develop partnerships and create alignment with leadership team, marketing, sales, and related stakeholders by playing a leading role in OpCo’s business strategy and brand planning:

▪ Provide supports and information to better understand the market dynamics & economic trends competitive performances and market forecast utilizing global and in-house forecasting tools for AP/SP.

▪ Develop and deploy key business data to support commercial function (brand/trade marketing team & sales) to improve on brand planning and on-going action plans

 

Consumer Insight

▪ Play a key role within the CMI team that supports the management team and brand marketing team in identifying a challenge and assessing the most effective research to fill the information gap. o Provide supports to CMI Manager for strategic research studies o Take lead of tactical research studies

▪ Work with the CMI manager to lead consumers-facing research programs by developing the research brief, assess the best proposal and challenge the agency throughout the research process on the right development of the research approach and methodology.

▪ Support Marketing Team in insight generation based on excellent knowledge of consumer trends from multiple researches (tracking and ad-hoc research)

▪ Be part of the CMI team that brings together all elements of CMI to identify innovation opportunities: thorough involvement at all levels of the front-end innovation process (consumer insight, idea generation, concept development, concept screening and CPT evaluation). Analyse reports and data to provide meaningful findings from all information (market and consumer) to enable commercial team to assess where is the most crucial need for brand plan and commercial plan revisions

 

Job Requirements:

 

Functional expertise:

- 1 or 2 years of related FMCG, commercial, and industry experience or recent graduate with qualifications relating to marketing or market research.

- Candidate should have some understanding of the role of market research and of the different types of research methodologie

- Consumer research and analytic experience preferred but not essential if other experience within a commercial setting

- Beverage Alcohol, Fashion, and/or other CPG experience desirable

-Comfortable communicating in a team and with senior stakeholders

- Strong organisational skills including managing multiple projects

- Experience working in Excel, PPT (and PowerBI)

- Problem solving, curiosity and willingness to question
