Channel Marketing Manager On trade

1. Job Purpose

Develop and implement the Commercial Strategy, Execution Plan and Continuous Improvement Cycle for the On Trade Channel (Where to play, How to win, What to do).

 

2. Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence | Conduct a regular trade census and ensure a system is in place to keep outlet/market data up to date. Implement a structured approach to regularly collect and update consumer/shopper/customer insights for defined priority channels.
  • Channel Strategy | Formalise and regularly review a Channel Strategy with clear definitions of Priority Channels and clear Strategies to win.
  • Channel Activation | Plan, Execute and Track activations including a Picture of Success executed based on both permanent as well as promotional deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement Cycle | Embed continuous improvement methodology to ensure that the commercial plans are executed with excellence in the market.
  • Team Management | Deliver great results by building a performance-driven, customer orientated and accountable team. Actively develop team members through a tailored development plan including core competency development. Succession plan in place.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration | Extensive cross-functional collaboration including field sales, brand marketing, and finance.

 

3. Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relation or any related fields.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant On Trade channel marketing, brand marketing or field sales experience, with minimum 1-2 years of management position (preferably from FMCG Industry). OR
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of Management experience in an On Trade environment (management of a Bar, Restaurant for example).
  • Excellent Command of English both written and spoken. Chinese is a bonus.
